Due to some things I can't really distance myself from him right now but I may honestly just ask him how his girlfriend is at some point and just ask about her, I feel like it could go 50/50 but I can't really distance myself from him (not saying I'm forcing myself against my will to talk to him) and honestly if he thinks I'm trying to hit on him then I can just say I like someone or something

Honestly it's been interesting to see, I quite literally could make a list of his weird behavior and actions since we split

Acheron

| Rogue | Male | Mentions: Fenrys

Acheron’s ears flicked as the breeze carried the faint, yet unmistakable scent of another wolf nearby. He paused, tensing, his muscles coiling with readiness. He remained hidden, moving quickly to a higher spot, his movements silent and fluid. His breathing slowed, tunnel vision locking onto the other male. Acheron wasn’t looking for a fight, but he would finish one if he had to. Thankfully, the loner had some surprisingly good de-escalation skills.

From his vantage point, Acheron could see a mixed gray-colored male standing in a pool of light. His nostrils flared, picking up the scent's nuances. The scent that the gray male carried indicated he was with the pack. It made Acheron squeeze his eyes shut, silently reprimanding himself for getting himself into pack territory.

Acheron watched intently as the male tried to piece together what had happened, his gaze fixed on the blood trail stark against the forest floor beneath him. The gray wolf moved cautiously, following the blood trail but frequently looking around, clearly on high alert. Before Acheron knew it, the male flipped—now staring where Acheron stood, causing him to stiffen. The gray wolf took a defensive position, half-crouched, ready to attack at a moment’s notice.

Acheron knew he had to make his presence known before the situation escalated further. His heartbeat thundered in his ears, but he managed to keep his breathing steady. Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward, allowing himself to be partially visible. The forest seemed to hold its breath, the only sound the gentle rustling of leaves in the breeze. He could see the gray male's ears twitching, straining to catch any hint of movement.

"I mean no harm," Acheron called out, his voice steady and calm. The dark male's eyes locked onto the other’s crouched form, analyzing the next possible outcomes. "I was just passing through and found the blood trail. I thought it might lead to someone in need." His words hung in the air, heavy with the weight of his intentions.

Moving slowly, Acheron descended from the shadowy trees. His figure appeared to flicker as the shadows waxed and waned over his body. The shadows alternating between complete concealment and revealing his imposing figure in patches of sunlight filtering through the dense foliage above.

His head dipped in respect, though he held eye contact, showing he meant no harm but would not submit. He kept his posture relaxed but still ready, each step deliberate as he emerged from the shadows. The sunlight that managed to slip through the trees cast dappled patterns on his charcoal-gray fur, highlighting his powerful physique. He moved with the grace of a predator, every motion fluid and controlled.

"I travel alone and have no interest in your pack. I smelled blood and followed it here, nothing more," Acheron continued, his tone respectful yet firm. The dark brute could feel the tension simmering in the air, but Acheron held his ground, his gaze unwavering.

Loni | Female | Shakira | M: Open

Indirect: Rune, Alari, Lilith and the youngsters at the beach

The obsidian colored she wolf sat in the shade playing with roots in the ground with her claws. The dirt was soft and dry from the lack of rain that has been around. She tilted her head watching the ground as the dirt. Loni looked around seeing her brother and mother speaking in a private manner. Her head cocked to the side as she watched them curiously. The images of Rune appeared in her head. She murmured “A mother that had Secret….. Secret… filled with fire…” She silently removed herself from the ground and saw the young alpha wolf. Alari had come back with her scent betrayed her and a mixture of ocean. Her eyes narrowed as the spiraling of the images in her head of Alari. She quickly exited the camp without a noise or fuss as if her presence was never near.

“Flower… The flower without a secret will turn poisonous.. But Snow is much more needed for Flower.. The Flower will bring peace.. Or seek havoc amongst others..” She uttered under her breath as she moved quickly to the beach.

She was still in the treeline, but she saw other wolves on the shore decorating for the ceremony. Her eyes saw the young male apprentice. His eyes were bleeding and she shook her head to watch it disappear. “Tears of blood from innocents will stain the grounds where the Druids reside..”

The visionary was slowly realizing that things were going to happen soon. Though she had a feeling in her gut. It was too late… She knew all she could do was act like nothing was going to happen. Act like something was not going to come out of the shadows for all to see. The shards of sand stabbed her paws as she moved out to the sand. Loni had to stay busy for own sake as her sanity was becoming more elusive. As it was slipping away as the visions were more frequent and twisting her own reality to a nightmare. Loni had nowhere to start, but to collect the large seashells that were in the water. As the water stung her cut up paws, but she did not feel a thing. She needed her mind more busy and her paws to do something other than walk. A distraction from what was happening in her brain or what was happening below everyone’s nose.

Spirit | Male | Shakira | M: Open
-
Spirit trotted trough the forest, heading to the beach. He followed the salty, ocean-scented trail as he carried the plump rabbit. The cool breeze made his fur twist and turn in different ways, and when he emerged from the border of trees his fur was thrown everywhere on his pelt.
-
He dipped his head to the others as he past them, and he set the rabbit down in the sand next to him when he sat on the shore. The waves lightly crashed at the sand, and against his paws. Spirit squinted as the ocean spray misted him, and he had to shake his fur free of it every few minutes. Everyine seemed busy for the ceremony, decoratng the sand and the trees. He stood up as he looked around. He walked the edge of the water, picking up any prety shells as he went.
-
Spirit laid the shells with the other decorations, the sun burning his black pelt. He looked up, remm=embering the rabbit. It should probably go back to camp. He trotted back to it, and then quietly strut to the treeline, back to the clearing where he and his packmates lived.

Fenrys - M - Akashi - Mention(s): Acheron
~
Fenrys studied the lone wolf. He certainly looked the part when he said he traveled alone - his fur and demeanour seemed to indicate a wanderer.
His explanation of why he was here was also acceptable - he might have seen the trail of blood and simply followed it, ignoring all our scent markings surely he wouldn't've missed.
Fenrys didn't think the other wolf meant any harm. He had made that pretty clear. And Fenrys thought if it came to a fight, he had a higher likelihood of walking away still standing than lying on the ground with his guts torn out against this wolf. He wasn't Akashi for nothing, after all.
Fenrys's defensive pose dropped slightly. He doubted that the male would attack him - surely he knew better than that. Fenrys pegged the male as the type to not directly provoke anyone.
And yet... Fenrys couldn't help but feel that he was hiding something.
Sure, he had plausible explanations, and at least respected him - surely, he knew he was at least two years older than him - but really, who was he?
He didn't say his name either, Fenrys suddenly realized.
Really, he needed more information to go off if he wanted to judge this new wolf that was in their territory. Fenrys thought briefly about the elk search he was doing earlier, and pushed it aside. That could wait.
"So... what's your name? And where do you come from?" If this unknown male answered his questions, he'd answer them too. If he didn't answer the questions, he knew he would be hiding something. For Fenrys was only going to give him as much information as he gave him.

Régnar
Beta Appretice || Male || Mentions: Wisteria, Alari
Indirectly Mentions: Valdís, Yèmiào, Malakai, Lilith,
Sikúnguak

Despite the conversation ending, he could feel Wisteria's eyes on him, her concern like a weight pressing down on his chest. Her words about facing things together were comforting, but they also intensified his guilt. He wanted to confide in her, but the stakes were too high. Besides, if he found out..

"I know," he sighed out regarding her words. "It means a lot, Wisteria," he began, his voice lowering. "Really, it does. But some things.. some things are just too dangerous to share." He paused, glancing around, his tone a mere whisper. "Let's finish this," he said, voice gaining a bit more strength. "We'll make it perfect. And maybe, once everything is done, we can talk more." Right now, there were too many eyes. He didn't know who was observing from the shadows..

The thoughts were too dark for Régnar to proceed with. Instead, he plunged into his work, the task of decorating becoming his refuge. He draped kelp over branches and scattered shells, creating a pathway to the beach that led from the forest. He began small, the decorating becoming more intense the further Alari and Sikúnguak would walk. His plan was for it to be magical, as if the Gods themselves touched the area and blessed it.

When Wisteria agreed to finding white flowers, Régnar nodded, matching her enthusiasm. "Let's do it," he said, his voice steadier now. Motioning for her to walk alongside of him, he trotted through the woods. It didn't take long for him to espy yarrow growing. He recalled that it was in season, having learned that from Yèmiào. For a moment, his face dropped once more, eyes growing saddened at the thought of her. It was a medicinal plant, as she once told him. Useful for open wounds. For that reason, Régnar did not pick it. Instead, he would leave it. Yèmiào and Xiomar needed it more.

Continuing, he proceeded all but a few minutes before discovering a patch of snowdrops. "This could work," he muttered aloud, partially to Wisteria, and partially to himself. "I heard that they symbolize new beginnings, hope, and the ability to overcome challenges." Glancing to her, he nodded. "Let's grab some?" Gently, he picked a bundle, careful not to damage the petals. These were good flowers given the ceremony. In truth, they could not be better! He hoped that Yèmiào would be proud of him and his symbolism, after all it was she that taught him most of it. Perhaps she would even see it as a.. peace offering of sorts. His way of asking for forgiveness, even if he could not speak to her face-to-face. After all, who knows if he'd be watching.

He waited for Wisteria to grab her own batch before returning to the beach, scattering a few stems and flowers around. He made sure not to overdo it, wanting the lilies to be the main distraction.

"What do we think?" Content with the decorating, he turned to Wisteria, wanting her input. He was satisfied. It was pretty enough, with everything on his mental checklist being completed. As he surveyed the scenery, it was then when he caught sight of Lilith, Wisteria's own mentor. He liked Lilith. He respected her. It seemed that she was one of the few decorating, choosing to place stones in a line and collecting moss. It was a good idea, the moss. At least it would smell earthier. Between that and the flowers? It would be wonderful.

Gazing around once more, Régnar stiffened up the moment he saw Alari. Blinking, an array of feelings took over. His first thought was that he didn't want her to see the beach yet. He wanted it to be a surprise. For Sikúnguak, too. However, both had caught a glimpse. No matter, it would be a surprise regardless.

Glancing up at her again, he couldn't meet her gaze and quickly looked away, pretending to busy himself, pawing at the sand. The sight of Alari alone struck such guilt within him, that he could barely focus. She needed to know the truth. She deserved it. She knew how to keep a secret.. But a secret that big? No, she would do something about it, and Régnar couldn't let that happen. Perhaps Yèmiào could? She would understand, but truthfully, what could she do about it? Would his mother know what to do? No, she'd tell Alari. He couldn't tell Sikúnguak either. The Beta would get aggressive, and if that happened? It would ruin the day.

He was out of options. Nobody could help him.

He was only grateful that Alari departed soon after, to which he finally allowed himself to breathe. Gah, this was ruining him! He needed to do something about it!

He only had to figure out what.

Malakai | Male | Omega | M: Xiomar, Yemiao

The large brute noticed the male would most like to listen to what he said. He would find Alvi’da later when he found the remedy and once he was back. Rune had to take the omegas and prisoners out for a patrol. Great Idea SIk. The bad behaved wolves to go on the patrol with one wolf. Though he knew Rune was Eudora’s son, and well he was something else. He dipped his head toward the Beorn with a simple respect. He noticed Alari at came back with the scent of the ocean. She looked panicked with anxiety, but she concealed it with anger. He scoffed to himself His niece could not fool him.

He quickly exited the camp for the patrol, not eager to wait for the others. That would be just idiotic for him to do. That he would wait for these wolves to just wait and band together for a lousy patrol. When no greater threat is out there other than bears.

Then a sweet scent hit him.. A scent that he knew well. A scent that was his own, but not him. His eyes darkened and he found a sneer expression on his face. He slowly stalked the scent quickly, but silently.

He barked “My sweet daughter… What are you up to and not helping your cousin’s ceremony for her… You know what title..”

He did not see her and sat on his haunches knowing he could overpower her. He shall wait for her to appear and speak to him.

Nikolai - M - Shakira - Mention(s): Spirit (ind: N/A)
~
Nikolai, having hung out in the forest for longer than he probably should have, slowly wandered back to camp, making sure he took as long as possible to get there. It's not like he didn't want to go back - he just didn't want to be ordered to go back to the beach (ugh, the sand) and actually do something.
So Nikolai took his own sweet time on the way back to camp. Sniffing at an odd flower, walking reeeeally slowly, and generally wasting time. Because - ugh - he didn't really want to do anything. Especially not on te beach.
Sooner or later, however, Nikolai ran out of ways to dawdle, and found himself on the fringe of camp. Looking upwards, he checked the time - damn, the sun was getting really high - and quietly observed camp.
Most of the wolves were already on the beach, doing stuff. Nikolai didn't want to go back there. So he quietly observed camp.
There didn't seem to be many wolves in camp any more, most of them having been sent out to the beach by that not-yet Beta. The prisoners were still prisoning, though, and some wolves seemed to be going around looking important, Nikolai searched for someone he could have a talk to, and who would let him look like he was doing something without actually doing something. His eyes lit on Spirit, coming out of the forest in the other direction, a rabbit in his mouth. Nikolai wasn't the best of friends with Spirit, but they had a mutual acquiscience, and Spirit probably wouldn't mind having a conversation with him. Nikolai hoped. While he didn't wantto do work, he would be more inclined to do work (even if it was on the damn beach) than get ratted out for doing absoluteloy nothing.
It wasn't usually want Nikolai did. Usually he liked participating, and did help. But when it came to the beach - Nikolai straight-up hated it, and tried to skive off as much as possible.
Like today.
So Nikolai wandered towards Spirit. That conversation was coming to him.

Spirit dropped the rabbit in the pile with the others and flicked his tail. The beach and sun had felt nice for a bit, but wih his black fur it burned him quickly. Here, in the forest though, the sun was covered and the slow breeze was in his pelt.
-
He looked around the clearing, the trees, and the dens. He trotted to the most shaded spot of the clearing and sat down. He closed his eyes, letting his scents roam. The sound of rushing water was near, the ocean. The scent of prey and moss, the forest and clearing. He opened his eyes. The sun filtered through the trees. Spirit shook the small clumps of moss from his pelt and padded back to the food pile.
-
spirit looked up again. He had just noticed Nikolai walking to him. "Didn't like the beach too much? It burned my pelt after a while." He waved his tail and fluffed up his fur to let the breeze cool him.

Yémiào

Shaman's Apprentice | One Years Old | Mentions: Laverna, Malakai , Alrai and Valdís

The young female had to sigh ; her patient was quite fussy. Given injuries he had a right to be and it seemed that there was a rather upsetting story behind it. She didn't want to say anything but he smelled of other wolves - ones that didn't smell like her home and they smelled dangerous. There was also a lingering scent ; one akin to his own but older and younger - perhaps familial? But it was drowned out by the horrid scent of blood and medicines. She worked in haste - removing the soiled bedding and then gingerly adding more moss for the base and then soft fern leaves with lavender and then some feathers of geese and ducks with more grass and some lichens . It was honestly a comfortable little bed and she hoped he appreciated her work. Once she was finished she let him back on his bed. She had made no comment on his behavior as she realized he was just getting adjusted and had every right to be suspicious and paranoid. And she perked her ears up at getting a name from him. She tilted her head to the side, he had stopped himself when saying his name , but she would say nothing. If it gave him comfort to use a false or shortened name until he was comfortable - who was she to call him out for it ? And she gave a soft smile saying, " Nice to meet you Vern, though I wish it would be under better circumstances for you . " she said her voice calm and relaxed. She took the rock he drank from and gave a satisfied hum and then went to the stream and retrieved him some fresh water to drink . "Thank you for bearing with the medicine ; this is fresh water from the stream in case you get thirsty later on. I know it's not the most ideal situation but your cooperation has been fundamental. " she spoke and then drug over a deer skin pelt, saying - "if you get a bit cool, here is a pelt for you . As it can be a bit chilly in this cavern as the moisture makes it a bit cooler than the norm. " and she gave a soft chuckle. She wasn't going to show any real hostility until he did so. He just seemed like someone who was far from home and was rather lost in his journey.

When he explained his situation in simple words, she perked her ears in alertness. Attacked ? And he was the sole survivor ? That was not good. She wanted to press for answers, but obviously he had lost his family to these vagrants - and would be insensitive to question him about it at the moment. But her heart was full of worry ; because those who harmed him could've followed his scent to her pack's home. Though they wouldn't dare trespass upon Druid territory - they were rather formidable in combat and reputation, though they might use the rumors of whispers of discord within the pack to their advantage. Her face was one laced in concentration due to her thoughts before giving a look of empathy and compassion towards him. Her amber eyes softer than they had been in a while, " I am sorry for your loss and what you have gone through. I lost my mother . . . so I share your pain in a way. Let's just say her killer has yet to be given his dues . " her voice was caring yet, at her statement her eyes grew hard with resentment , her voice holding a slightly bitter tone and one remembering things far away, " and do not fear retaliation, no one would be foolish enough to attempt to siege my packs home - we have been here for generations and have a reputation. My Aunt is the newly established Alpha of this pack - I am blabbing too much, " she gave an awkward chuckled before flicking her ear in embarrassment, " I will let you rest now, I'll probably have to let my mentor check on you later to get his expert opinion , " her voice laced with distate, "but the bastard would most likely criticize my work for no reason and make me clean his hovel of a den because he's a mangy fleabag" she huffed under her breath, before taking a deep breath. " But that probably won't be until after the Ceremony - which I'll tell you about later. Now get some rest, Vern - you look like you need it." Her voice soft and silky as she spoke.

She then could hear the approach of someone to her den, and the familiar scent of the one who was related to her by blood caught her nose. Her muzzle wrinkled in annoyance. What did the bastard want with her now ? She had to suppress an eye roll as he spoke to her. He, no doubt would take her half - dried appearance and muddied paws with the scent of herbs as normal because that's how she always looked after searching for herbs. But the blood would be harder to explain, unless she just blamed it on the cut on her paw. She gave him a neutral expression, " Malaki, I was just going to greet my Aunt and congratulate her on her most auspicious day ; it's such a privilege for her to be bestowed such a role. And not to mention have a strong male by her side to help her govern . I just was so busy getting spring herbs ; after all some of these will be useful in the future. I didn't get time to go to the beach to get sea sponges or sea foam though - that would've been nice. " she spoke casually and calmly. And she began walking away from the father to carry on her daily business.

" And pray tell what should you be doing ? Why are you bothering me - I thought Omegas were supposed to be under the watchful eye of the Beorn ? It would be best not to cause trouble for poor Rune . " she said with a sweet lilt in her voice bit the slight venomous sneer could be heard. She was his daughter after all, she wasn't that naive or sweet - she could be a bitch when she needed to.

The female hummed to herself as she made her way to the main pack area. She could see the Beta conversing with his younger sister and then she saw Alrai with Valdís - and she flattened her ears. It looked like the she - wolf was worried about something and expressing it to Alrai. But the younger female thought her problem would be more serious at the moment.

"Um, excuse me, auntie . . " the female squeaked , causing Valdís to stop talking out of curiosity, " I was looking for herbs today ; and I found an injured wolf. He's a young male , about apprentice age. And he was badly hurt ; and all I got out of him was he and I'm assuming his family or pack was attacked and he was the sole survivor. And I patched him up and he's resting in the cavern. " she said informing her aunt and leader, and then she perked her ears saying, " Oh, and I believe his name is Lavern ? But he seems to prefer to be called Vern. " she said her voice containing a bit of slight confusion along with amusement as she muffled a slight giggle . She then awaits the response of her Aunt.

Acheron

| Rogue | Male | Mentions: Fenrys

Acheron watched as the gray wolf studied him, the shift in his posture not going unnoticed. He could see the wheels turning in the other male’s head, weighing the situation, trying to read him as much as he was trying to read the pack wolf. Acheron took a deep breath, readying himself to respond, his muscles tensing subtly under his fur.

"I come from nowhere in particular," he began, his voice calm and measured. He flicked his tail, a gesture meant to emphasize his point. "I’ve been wandering for a long time, without a place to call home." He held the gray wolf’s gaze, his orange eyes steady and unwavering, showing no sign of deception.

"I followed the blood trail because it’s not in my nature to ignore someone who might be in trouble." Acheron’s ears twitched as he spoke, the only sign of his underlying alertness. "I didn't realize I was so close to your territory until I picked up on the scent markings, which is when I turned back." He kept his tone respectful, knowing that any hint of aggression could escalate the situation. His stance remained neutral, with his weight evenly distributed on all four paws.

Acheron took a step back, the movement slow and deliberate, giving the pack male more space as a gesture of goodwill. His tail lowered slightly, a subtle signal of his non-threatening intent. "I understand your caution. If our positions were reversed, I’d be asking the same questions. But I assure you, I have no ill intentions. I’m just a loner that stumbled into the territory."

He paused, gauging the male's reaction, his nostrils flaring as he took in the other wolf’s scent. Narrowing his eyes slightly, he added, "As for my name, I go by many. Knowing it won’t change anything." His voice took on a firmer edge, conveying his resolve. "Again, I’m by myself, and I mean no harm to your pack."

Despite the other wanting his name, the gray male didn't offer his own. Acheron was not about to name himself to a stranger. As a pack wolf, you should always identify yourself and your rank; even Acheron knew this. He didn’t like this any more than the other wolf did, and he was ready to move on. Acheron was not willing to give up his name so easily either. Names are power, and in this moment, power was not something he was willing to give easily.

Acheron nodded towards the trail. "You see the blood yourself; it continues into your camp," he said, his thoughts returning to the evidence before them. His piercing gaze met the gray male's. As Acheron observed him, the dark male's neutral expression shifted into one of puzzlement. "Do you recognize the other scent with it? A young female's scent, mixed with the other one," he inquired, his voice steady but laced with curiosity.
