Ollie | 17 | Female | Kahlua Ollie bit back a little grin at his delievery. It was fairly rare that they had a someone who wasn't talkative around, or perhaps it was just that they knew each other so well that there was no lull in conversation. Either way, Ollie found further slowed Kahlua to a modest walk. "I do, but not by name. Everyone noticed when y'all brought her in. She's pretty flashy." Ollie replied, half-raising her eyebrows. "What are you planning on doing with her?"

Noi | 19 | Male He slightly nodded, his eyes often diverting the girl's. He chuckled a bit. ”Yeah, guess she is.” He mumbled, he looked up to the sky before looking back to the female and her stallion.
"What are you planning on doing with her?" He nodded slightly, glancing to the trail before him. ”Dressage.” He replied, he looked back at the teen. "I was originally going to have her do crosscountry, but decided against the idea.” He added with a shrug. Elloise | 17 | Female She clipped the lead to Minx's rope halter, after she petted his short, soft mane. She then tugged a bit on his lead as she started to walk off, the stallion following his handler at a steady pace. She smiled as she looked to her horse. When she was young she thought when people said animals can be there best friends that they were just stupid.. after she met Minx, well she knows she was greatly wrong. Animals really can be your best friend, your closest friend.

Fay | 14 | Female | Nox As they reached the arena Fay slipped off her horse and unlatched the gate, swinging it open and clucking at Nox to encourage him inside, gentle pulling at his head collar. Once he was inside she closed the gate, Luna at her side as always. "Lie down" she commanded softly and the dog oblidged, soon to be rewarded with a treat. "Stay" murmered Fay as she backed towards Nox. She wanted to do some jumping today, Nox was a brave boy, he didn't spook easily but he did sometimes plain refuse to go over the jumps. So she went over to the side of the arena and dragged a jump into the centre, it was low so she could work on Nox without worrying too much about the jump itself. She went back to Nox. Putting one foot on the wood panel of the fencing she clambered atop the stallion, gathering the reins. She urged him on and began to trot around the arena.

Alex|17|Female She let candy wonder around the field for a while then called her back. Candy came over when she was called and Alex put her saddle back on and got on the saddle. "Get the lead rope and we can go to the fair." She said more to herself then to candy. She turned candy around and headed back towards the stables. She didnt have to use a lead rope for candy when kids were riding but anything could happen.

Ollie | 17 | Female | Kahlua Ollie's face cinched into one of vague distaste. "That's the only sport I could never do. I can't get that-" she paused for a moment, straightening up and pushing her shoulders back as if in emphasis, "-refinement. And I don't think Kahlua could ever be that collected." As if to agree, Kahlua tossed his head, toying with the roller on his bit noisily. "Not that I'm particularly fond of a flat saddle anyway." She tacked on, gesturing to her own heavy western tack as if it weren't obvious. "You picked a good barn though. I feel like most people here have experience with either dressage or jumping or both." All at once, she realized that she had been talking a lot, and also that she hadn't yet gotten the boy's name. They weren't close enough for her to comfortably shake his hand (it would be a death wish; Kahlua that close to a mare), so she settled for another 1000 watt smile instead. "I'm Ollie! What's your name?"

Alex|17|female She grabbed a lead rope that was hanging outside Candy's stall and got back on candys saddle. she had candy go straight and attached the lead rope to the saddle. Alex had candy go to the side of the road. "Its not that far away so i think we should be able to go without a trailer. Only 5-10 minutes." She said to candy. Candy tossed up her head as to say ok or that she understood. Alex patted Candys neck and they continued down the side of the road

Fay | Female | 14 | Nox As the horse trotted on she turned the first corner and sat, on the next corner tansitioning into a canter. She glanced around spotting the carpark where she could see a few trailers and trucks before fixing her eyes on the path once more. She turned Nox towards the jump and he glided towards it, his canter relaxed and smooth. Fay didn't let herself tense up, Nox would jump, it was an easy one for her big boy.

Noi | 19 | Male "That's the only sport I could never do. I can't get that-" a short pause "-refinement. And I don't think Kahlua could ever be that collected." He chuckled as he could see this, he found jumping fun, but he decided to do what he does. He didn't mind that it was a confined sport, but he did like to push his limits.. maybe this wasn't the best sport for him, but it sure was something Indigo could pull off. "Not that I'm particularly fond of a flat saddle anyway." He chuckled at this, his glance shifted towards the saddle the female was motioning to. He could agree with her. It wasn't his ideal saddle either, and wished he'd be able to use western saddles. But that would teach Indigo to get used to wrong type of saddle. "You picked a good barn though. I feel like most people here have experience with either dressage or jumping or both." He nodded, his eyes drifting towards the path in front of us. He sure hoped he had came to a good area. He wouldn't be suprised if he could find someone who knew how to do both, maybe even barrel racing? "I'm Ollie! What's your name?"
His glance shifted back to the girl before saying, "Noi, this is Indigo." He smiled back knowing they wouldn't be able to shake hands. "From what I've seen so far everyone here has been here for a few years?" He questioned. Elloise | 17 | Female She and her stallion made there way to the tacking area, once they arrived Elliot signaled Minx to stay. Now the horse was like a big puppy, he was trained well, and was attached to his owner. That was one of the perks of being with the stallion since they were born. She adjusted a saddle pad onto the stallions back, before she grabbed a western saddle, with a small grunt. The saddle was decently heavy for her small frame. She soon placed the saddle onto Minx, and she positioned it. After she grabbed a leather bridle, the bridle on her left arm as she took the rope halter off of the Andalusian. The horse shook his head once the halter was off, before letting Elliot slide on the bridle, holding the reins in her hand.

Jasper Harman | 17 | Female | Mentions: Open ~~~~~~~~~~ The young woman had gotten up a few minutes later than everyone else, due to not having slept well the night before. Now that she was up and about though, the first place she'd gone to was the stables. Now, she technically had two horses in her care, but one of them usually stayed in the fields because of sheer stubbornness of being put in a stall. Her horse, one that she'd raised from a foal, was a gorgeous appaloosa stallion named Dheamon (who is available to be played if anyone's interested), and he was the pride and joy of her life. She approached the stall with his name on it while carrying two apples - one for her and one for the horse - and whistled softly, and the stallion curiously pokes his head out of the stall to look down at her. - At the sight of her, the stallion gave an excited huff, and she couldn't help but laugh when he tried to stretch more to see the apples. "Ah, don't worry boy. One of these is for you." She chirped calmly, and after getting the stall open she stepped inside and shut it partially behind her. Taking one of the apples she had in hand, she held it out while keeping her palm flat. Dheamon steps forward to give the apple a curious sniff, then takes it in his mouth to set it on a clear patch of the stall floor so he could nibble on it. While he was busy doing that, she took the time to stroke his coat, letting her hand run gently along his side and his flank, whispering little compliments and words of encouragement as she smiled softly. - Eventually though, she knew she'd have to finish this up and go out to the fields and check on the other horse in her part time care. While the mare - which she'd been told was called "Shattered Heart" - in her care technically didn't belong to her, she was one of the only few that the mare allowed to be near her. Because of this, caring for the mare had been set to her, which she usually did each morning after spending some quality time with Dheamon. ********** <~><~><~><~><~> ********** Shattered Heart | Mare | 5 years & 3 months | Mentions: Open ~~~~~~~~~~ The large mare was grazing out in one of the fields, lifting her head on occasion as she heard the sounds of humans and other horses going about their day. She gives a mildly annoyed and tired snort in response, before abandoning her grazing to trot around the field for a little while. Her heterochromatic eyes narrowed and swept over the area in an almost calculating way, mostly to see if anyone was approaching her. Seeing as most of the humans here were busy with their own horses, and the one who had taken charge of caring for her was busy right now, she went back to grazing, occasionally taking little steps forward to move to another spot.
