Ollie | 17 | Female | Kahlua Ollie grinned back at the girl, adding a friendly wink before sliding the halter fully into the crook of her arm and wresting open the door. Kahlua's stall had by far the worst hinges of the bunch, and they squealed their protest as the noirette struggled with them. Kahlua himself gave a high whinny- the kind usually only reserved for rodeos and mares he fancied- and all but ripped the halter from Ollie's arms in his attempt to get it on his face. It was clear that he was ready to work. She paused only a moment, just long enough to avoid being bowled over by Fay (though whoever she had just run into had not been so lucky) before leading him out towards the hitching post she favored to tack up at. The barn was now jumping with activity, something that enthused and agitated Ollie in equal measure. Deftly, she hitched Kahlua to the post and disappeared back into the barn to grab his tack. She selected the larger of her saddle, the one built for cattle working, using the same hand to snap up her saddle pad. With the second she took up his bridle; something she had won last season. It was gorgeous (and expensive; not something she could have purchased on her own). Kahlua was tacked up before you could really even breathe. Ollie was a groom on the ground, so quick and thorough it was absurd. Musing on this point, she swung up onto a now untethered Kahlua and turned him off towards one of the trals, clucking gently. It wasn't necessary; as soon as she was seated in the saddle, it was an argument to keep the stallion collected under him. The weather was good, evidenced by his CLEAR desire to run.

Alex|17|Female She grabbed candys reins and led her out of the stall and out of the stables. "You want to go to the field today?" She asked the horse. Candy neighed at her as if saying to her sure. She let her sister who's 13 name candy 4 years ago and she chose candy. When they got away from the stable she broke into a run still holding candys reins. Candy|5|Mare She was a little surprised when alex suddenly broke into a run but followed behind a a slow run. She'd always enjoyed doing this with Alex. "Theres a fair happening later today candy. You want to do it?" Alex said to her when she slowed down. She neighed again saying yes to alex. Alex tossed the reins above her head and got up on the saddle.

Noi | 19 | Male He made his way down the cemet hall, his bright blue eyes darted around. Multiple humans, and horses behind stall doors was all that stood out to him. As he made his way into the tack room, he tied the leather lead around a post, after he got a saddle pad and though it onto the mares back. Soon after he adjusted the pad, and then went to get the saddle. Elloise | 17 | Female She shyly looked down, her eyes diverted to the floor as she made her way back to her horses stall. She didn't feel comfortable, but decided to push it off. She was soon back with her horse, who seemed to know she was uncomfortable.

Fay| 14 | Female "Come on then boyo!" Fay said happily, clucking her stallion on and giving him a nudge with her feet. The stallion oblidged instantly, clearly wanting to get going. She felt Nox tug slightly on the reins and loosened them, she trusted Nox, she'd had him for a year now and had soon after starting to ride him noticed that this was nessecary if you wanted Nox to want to do what you asked. He liked to be in charge and preferred to be given more freedom, more trust, after he had that you could ask him to do anything and he'd oblidge. As she exited the stables and emerged into the cool morning air behind Ollie and Alex, she sped into a gentle trot, rising for the first 5 beats before settling into a sit and urging Nox gently into a smooth canter Edited at March 2, 2022 06:00 PM by ⁕Lupus⁕

Alex|17|Female she had Candy go at whatever speed she wanted and when at a good speed she released the reins and started petting Candy. She trusted Candy enough that she knew Candy wouldnt let anything happen to her when she rode like this. Candy slowed down and stopped. she got off candy and patted Candy's neck then pulled out one of the carrets out of her pocket and gave it to Candy. She removed Candy's saddle as she ate and put it down on the ground.

Noi | 19 | Male He sighed as he settled the heavy saddle on the mares black, and white back. He adjusted it, and did the same with a bridle. After he in tied his mare, and led her outside to where he mounted apon her. He soon settled into the saddle after he had patted her neck, he then knocked his horse with a small click before she started making her way down the path. Elloise | 17 | Female She walked up to her horse, and placed her hand on his white muzzle. Moving her hand up and down, stroking his white pelt. Gray and black spots covered his white fur. She soon hugged her stallion, who just obliged. ”Thank you Minx..” she whispered, she knew the stallion couldn't understand her words. But.. it gave her reassurance, she knew Minx since he was born, and loved him dearly. He always seemed to know what she was feeling.

Ollie | 17 | Female | Kahlua The trail was well-kept and clean, worn soft by years of hooves. The pair had scarcely made it a few beats down from the trailhead before Ollie was leaning forward in her saddle, raising her hands until Kahlua had all the head he could desire. He obliged, taking off at an eye-watering gallop. Her seat was immaculate even without trying, their movements so entuned to each other they were nearly one being. This was the benefit of raising your own horse, Ollie thought, the ability to blur the lines a little. The trail they were on was a backtrail, not heavily used by any of the other boarders, allowing for the speed she was looking for. They made quick work of it, looping around to where the trail converged with several others. Thinking on the fly, Ollie turned Kahlua to the right. He was breathing heavy by this point but showed no signs of slowing. Ollie let out a whooping laugh in response, breathing just as happy, dark eyes glittering. Finally, after a moment, Ollie and Kahlua came upon another pair. She didn't know him well; he was fairly new to the stable (and to riding in general, she thought), but she knew the horse, a beautiful paint vanner. Respectfully, Ollie slowed Kahlua to a jog, though he tossed his head in protest. "G'morning!" She called out to the man astride the mare. She was shorter than Kahlua, who quickly caught up, his ears twitching in vague interest.

Noi | 17 | Male As Indigo kept her movement steady, with a slight head turn to see the human and horse following. "G'morning" He whipped his head around, his black locks falling into his face. "Good morning" he replied, before turning his head to the trail real quick. He didn't really know anyone their, but it seemed most everyone else had been here for years now. Great he was the odd one. A moment later he noticed the two were beside him and the mare. "I'm guessing you know Indigo?" He asked not knowing what to say, yeah he wasn't the best with interaction's Elloise | 17 | Female She pulled back from the Andalusian, and started to unlock, and open the stall's large wooden door. The stallion didn't try to run out, he'd be led out of there soon enough. Elloise reached over and grabbed a lead, that she had left in case of emergencies, and needed to get Minx out of the stables instantly. She picked up the rope lead, and walked into the stall. She left in barely open, but only wide enough for a really skinny horse or a human..

Fay After a while she slowed Nox back to a trot, he had a layed back smooth trot which Fay adored and made sitting trot easy, rather than some bouncier ponies. It was still early but Fay was wide awake, rising up and down on Nox with Luna bounding along at their side. Fay wasn't worried about Luna getting herself into trouble, she'd been bringing the dog to the farm fo 8 months now and had slowly introduced her to Nox, so that neither would get too spooked, making sure she trained her how to behave around the horses. It had been a fun project really. She had thought about seeing if she could get Luna to be able to sit behind Fay when Nox was walking but maybe that was too adventurous for now. Making her descision, Fay directed Nox down the track, heading towards the arenas.
