| @petri some dogs take longer then 2. my girl is probably going to take longer as I take it super super slow. both my pups are owner trained my fully trained service dog is 5 and he's a chiweenie named Scooby |

| @Winter Aw! Dachshunds are so cute and spunky! And I'll be sure to take it step-by-step. I know it's a long process (up to two years, apparently). But I think having the pup owner trained will help with the handler-dog bond as well. |

| @Winter The pup will be 8 weeks when I pick him up (it's through a professional breeder whose rep I checked thoroughly to avoid BYB), though I do plan on keeping up with any potty training that hasn't been completely established. |

| @Smilecat Lol, I'll be training him to be an SD to maybe that'll keep him distracted from his natural chewy instincts. How does the name Janja (pronounced Yan-yah) sound? |
