Actually that works pretty good if a decent chunk of the former crew were lost so they had to make do with some slightly untrustworthy lookin newbies to fill in the gaps to keep everything running (probably the only reason my dumbass managed to get aboard anyway) |

I'm gonna say Graham is 27, meaning he joined up when he was 13. Gore and Cynris rlly knew this dude thru his extra angst teenage years and 100% know about his religious beliefs by now I didn't realize we'd know each other for so long before the rp like this |

I actually really like this idea. I like the thought that they had to skip over the newbie's backstories and shadiness in order to be able to fill the gaps created by The Event |

They were like 'well would get vet these guys, check for some qualifications y'know some experience. OR we could get away with paying them less and finally getting a move on again-' I imagine a big crew member loss would've stranded them for a bit since it takes everyone to keep the ship sailing smoothly |

maybe they survived The Event because they're both kind of reclusive and just locked everybody out of their respective quarters |
