Scared, afraid , worried. And protective. She constantly uses a plaster and protective powder on his cracks to preserve him and keep him safe, and she will not let him leave without it. And she will not tolerate anyone underestimating his skill or gossiping about his cracks and remarks.

Hmm, should they have met before the cracks or after? Well, if they were childhood sweethearts (him thinking they're friends), then she would've noticed the cracks, but he kept it hidden from her

Do we have any explanation for why all these gargoyles that have been sitting forever are all in the same very recent generation? Where'd the whole generation (or two) before them go? Mass murders?? Population control??? |

Ooh well if we're making it lote instead of NPCs perhaps the Castle was attacked by a force that was equal to that of the castle and gargoyles. So that's why their human lords left originally. There were a large amount of casualties on all sides, so much so that despite winning the humans vacated the castle for refuge somewhere else leaving the younger generation of gargoyles on their own. |
