Hey, I know wacom is a pretty trusted brand for a lot of people, but I would suggest Huion. My first three tablets were from them (Bamboo splash, and two intuos) and I had constant issues with the drivers. Then, when I tried to get it fixed, the customer support was kind, but not very helpful. I haven't heard too many bad reviews about huion and their prices are pretty bueno. I did borrow a more expensive wacom tablet from a friend, and it worked rather well, so I think if you do want to buy for wacom, go for the nicer ones. Also adobe photoshop is awesome. |

I suggest Wacom intuos to start... its small compact and only like 60$ on amazon. I had to switch to Ugee which is like 400 but only because i cant for the life of me draw while looking up XD
but the intuos is a very good starting point :) and im going to go a step further and suggest paint tool sai for a drawing program! :D |

I have an XP-Pen cintiq tablet, and it is a very nice tablet. It was rather pricey, and definitely not one I suggest if you are on a tight budget. It is by far one of the cheapest cintiqs though. The pen responsiveness and sensitivity is lovely. I have had it since march or april. As for drawing program~ I use autodesk sketchbook pro. There is a free version, but the pro offers much more. It is only 30$ a year. It is definitely the best program I have used. |

I personally have the intuos Pro Paper which is fairly expensive. however i will admit i do not use the paper function hardly at all so the Intuos Pro is a bit cheaper. |
