Urux, it's wild to me that they're not twins either, those odds have to be miniscule

Well when I curl my hair with a curling wand it never stays for more then an hour. I have gotten really good wave hair but doing double dutch braids in my hair and they will last atlest 3 days. My hair doesn't like heat probably cause I almost never use heat on my hair.

Haha, that's the only logical explanation, burns would be bigger, more extensive damage. Swords would give a slashing scar. But torture can cause weird scarring if you choose

Cy, heat is honestly your best option for curls that are gonna stay in, I wouldn't recommend curlers at all, I did em for Halloween a few years ago and it was disasterous

I have no logical explanation for how his scar looks the way it does.

I think...

I want to get some extra funds in this game as I work to figure out how everything works, and I consider myself a bit of an artist so...why not do some art for it? Unfortunately, I have no idea what the pricing is like here, hence why I'm making this thread. All art featured was drawn and colored by me.

I do numerous types of art, including pixel and non-pixel. I'm not sure which types of art would be more sought after here, so I'll just list examples of everything I can do. I'm also best at felines but can do canines as well. I'll do roughly one example for each type of art, but I have plenty of others!
And now, on to the examples! First up: pixel art.
I can do these little bouncy pixels.
They take me about 30 minutes to an hour to complete, depending on the design and whether or not shading is included. They are 50 x 50.
I also have these bouncy pixel pagedolls. They're generally 200 x 200 and can be any pose you want. They can take an hour or so to complete.
Last pixel option is icons! An example would be my own. I have another one here:
These are 300 x 300.
Next up, non-pixel art! First, I have these headshots.
Usually 500 x 500 but resized so it doesn't take up too much space. They also come with a white border that...I'm not sure will show up. I could also do something like this for an icon.
Next up, fullbodies.
Usually 1000 x 1000 but again, resized for here. These can take a few hours. I can also do backgrounds.
And, now, the final type: scenes. These include shading and lighting, and a background. These will usually be around 2000 x 2000.
These are the main types of art I can do. So I guess...let me know if you'd be interested in anything like these, and how much you'd pay for my art?

Alright I still dunno anything about pricing here or if this is something people would pay for my art, but going off of my USD pricing converted to apples/mushrooms, here's what I've come up with.
The lil bounce pixels would be 10 apples, +2 for shading
Pixel pagedolls would be 20 apples, +4 for shading
I don't have a specific price for the pixel icons yet, but probably somewhere around 25-30 apples
The headshots would be 10 apples
Fullbodies would be 24 apples at a base price, +6 for shading
The scenes would be 60 apples.
And, as I understand it, 1 apple is equal to about 1000 mushrooms.
I have no idea if these prices are fair. From what I've seen around...I'm not sure if there's many that would pay for this. I'd be okay with underpricing my art somewhat but I don't want to go super low as these do take time and I do have commissions elsewhere.

personally, I think that heading straight for the 10+ apple territory to begin with is over-pricing it. 1 apple does equal roughly 1000 mushrooms, depending on the market, it fluctuates between ~800 mushrooms to ~1000 mushrooms typically.
it's good to not under-price your work, but over-pricing it can be a bad thing as well. as you improve, of course you can raise the prices, but for now I think a good starting price would be around. .
bouncy pixels/pagedolls 100 mushrooms - 500 mushrooms.
pixel icons 250 mushrooms - 500 mushrooms.
non-pixel headshots 300 - 550 mushrooms.
fullbodies 400 - 800 mushrooms, or 1 apple.
scenes 500 - 1000 mushrooms, or 1 - 2 apples.
of course, these are my opinion and you don't need to take them seriously or even take this into account at all. this is my general thoughts on how much others might pay for it based on quality, etc. the prices of course could be raised or lowered accordingly, edited, and the like.
please don't take this negatively or as me trying to bring you down, I'm just trying to offer my honest opinion on the matter. hopefully this could help you price your art, the bouncy pixels especially look adorable. :)

Thanks for your input! I don't know much about pricing here, simply going off my usual prices but of course, things need to be adjusted based on the art community and economy. I'll likely go off the suggestions you've listed as they seem pretty fair to me from what I've seen and they're also the...only feedback I've gotten lmao
