Urux, it's wild to me that they're not twins either, those odds have to be miniscule

Well when I curl my hair with a curling wand it never stays for more then an hour. I have gotten really good wave hair but doing double dutch braids in my hair and they will last atlest 3 days. My hair doesn't like heat probably cause I almost never use heat on my hair.

Nice!!

Haha, that's the only logical explanation, burns would be bigger, more extensive damage. Swords would give a slashing scar. But torture can cause weird scarring if you choose

Oooh that's a better reason than "fight". 10/10

Cy, heat is honestly your best option for curls that are gonna stay in, I wouldn't recommend curlers at all, I did em for Halloween a few years ago and it was disasterous

I have no logical explanation for how his scar looks the way it does.

I think...

Uh hmm.

Draw the exact design? Well, it just takes practice and patience. I usually put my design next to the lineart while I'm coloring, that way I can look while coloring. Then I erase the picture. :)
hoe this helps

If I had made the OC myself and they're like, really simple/don't have much to remember, I literally just start drawing and only use ref images for exact colors. Else, yeah ref image from the get-go.

any time i go to draw the same oc, my markings never look the same unless they're very minimal. for example, my oc flex has a lot of dots of this orange color, and i normally just put them in the general area they are in, but not in the same amount. for your oc, i personally think that drawing them from different angles might help as well before you can begin to master drawing the markings the same or as close as possible each time. it's just time and patience, really. and always have a reference on hand, this ensures that you get the right colors and placement down.

That's what I do, but I have their colors saved and every image I do is a ref.

another tip would be, before coloring, make a basic line out of where they are. this way you can get the exact placement. i would do this by making a seperate layer (perhaps below the lineart layer), and then after you color, just delete it and do some clean-ups :)

I use IbisPaint X, on there, you can have one image and another next to it, I think it's similar to what you are saying. Correct me if I am wrong please!
