Today, children, I will be telling you the story of someone who got mad at me for not having our characters be mates.

So it was a wolf RP. This person gave me those "i'm underage but there's no hard evidence to ban me with" vibes. Awful grammar, two sentence posts, couldn't spell, always pinning characters and being StROnG gUY. I just dealt with it because I could easily whack them with a "my character flips yours on their back and cracks their leg" if i wanted to. It never had to go that far, thankfully.

However, there was a moment when my character, the alpha, threatened to take their character's, the beta's, rank down. They PMed me and told me i'M nOt AlLoWeD!!!1!! and it's like,, dude your beta is outright disrespecting the alpha. you want to keep that rank you better act like it.

So they picked up their act and the RP carried on. Eventually i posted that the alpha was looking for mate so if anyone is interested just hit me up for a romance plot. This person, without asking, makes a character that is apparently my character's mate and has been the whole time. I told them, "ey yo bud i want a romance plot not immediate mates so like could you take out that official mates part"

and they responded with "plz just let their first post be about how he licks her ear and says i lub you mate (or something idk) plz plz"

Obviously i said no. I forgot what happened but somehow the admin got involved because they kept pressuring me to just make them be mates. So the admin is talking to them in the PMs, and this person rushes into mine and tries to convince me to fight their fight for them. Begging me to tell the admin that I agreed and our characters are mates, and please it's too stressful uwu to have to admit that i don't agree with them being mates. I'm just like,, no. you brought this on yourself, i told you no and you pushed it.

the RP fell apart shortly after that because they had a huge fit that i never accepted. that's my rant about people who can't handle being turned down-

Ouch! I had someone try to guilt me after I cut off our roleplay and I quickly told them I would feel no sympathy for them. They quickly cleaned up their act.

I normally never play as full animals in a roleplay so how does the whole 'finding a mate' thing work?

Also, I just recalled this. But numerous times have other people quickly tried to get their OC to romance my OC when the RP is just starting, the thing is with the mindset this is a going to be an Romance based RP. WIth no prior talk of the Roleplay even having romance as a pre-determined topic off the top.
