WIP.
Will be changing a few details but for the most part she'll stay the same; currently writing her appearance and personality out properly :)
Charlotte Clarke
Nicknames: Lottie, Charlie (when she's in disguise), The Stowaway
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bisexual
Rank: Member
Desired Rank: Anything useful
Appearance:
Pretty tanned face & olive skintone. Light blush along her cheeks alongside freckles & subtle dimples on each cheek. Small, delicate nose & lips, soft round face. Light brown fluffy hair, cut below her chin/ears with a slight fringe to one side. Well manicured eyebrows & oval grey-green eyes. Pear shaped figure & small weight/short height. Generally a very 'lady-like,' elegant looking woman when she's wearing the right clothing. Wears some makeup on occasion, though not excessively so. Wears whatever the gang can spare for her, though she has a few luxurious items from her pre-gang days of which she is hesitant to wear nor sell. And of course there's her general aptitude with clothing, and her own little disguise
Personality:
Naïve || Upbeat || Confident || Sweet || Influential || Bright || Argumentative || Intelligent || Harmless || Headstrong || Determined || Reckless || Charming || Romantic || Courteous || Brave || Stubborn || Energetic
She was born to a rich mining-company owner and his wife - so was showered with money for the first 18 years of her life. Soon after that dreaded birthday however, he began to force Lottie into finding a suitable husband of which he had chose. As their relationship deteriorated and her mother travelled away for some time (to help the search for her missing brother) Lottie began to discover some less than lawful documents in her father's office. As a girl who upheld the law as best she could (for what naïve child does not believe in that corrupted system) - at the time - Lottie made the unfortunate mistake of handing it in to authorities. She greatly misunderstood the power her father weilded, and has now been on the run for just over a year. A few short weeks after she had first escaped the house, Will managed to get into contact through Lottie's mother, and eventually got her safely (or not much so, but better than before) into the gang. Running from the authorities is much easier with other people, supposedly.
Strengths:
Charm • Social influence/standing • Money & power • The art of make-up and outfit choice ;)
Weaknesses:
Easily frightened • Estranged family • Weak physical skills • A slight gambling addict
Likes:
Gossip • Listening to interesting people • Being given tasks to do • Anything romantic
It's not uncommon for women like Lottie to love to chat about anything and everything to everyone. Plenty of people like herself will spend hours talking about everything from the neighbors' new horse to the Sheriff's son - each bit of it there and gone in seconds as they weave from topic to topic. Lottie however, soaks up information like a sponge, collecting all the worthwhile information into her mind and storing it carefully away for whatever vaguely useful situation it may be used in. She is a hoarder, not of material possessions, but of knowledge. Not anything particularly academic - though she does take an interest in those types of things - Lottie takes an interest in social relationships. She likes the way people refer to other people: their viewpoints on different events and such. Honestly, she likes this knowledge so badly that it can ache not to know something. The worst situation is to be aware of you own lack of knowledge, in her opinion.
Dislikes:
Her family (Besides Will) • Dishonesty (ironically) • Ignorance & being ignored • Dogs
It's fairly obvious why Lottie does not like her father. A heartless man for one, but also once his misdeeds had been unearthed and some of her childish innocence wore away, it quickly became obvious how easily this man manipulated her. So quickly did he go from a 'doting father' to a businessman, ready to ship her off to the highest bidder. What began as familial love soon splintered into contempt - neither could stand the sight of eachother as the days grew longer and their increasing attempts for an arranged marriage failed miserably. For her father - it would be the perfect way to reel in a new work partner and get rid of a useless brat all at the same time; for Charlotte, even marriage to some random snobby guy would be better than wasting here at her suffocating child's room, at home. Everything changed a little as money started to tighten up and Lottie began to stumble upon whisperings of crime. That didn't do much to help their relationship...
Less obvious however, is her dislike of her mother. A pampered woman, and overly so - Lottie's mother always seemed too fickle to her. Her tone, expression, hair, even her skin - porcelain white with reddened powdered cheeks - appeared fake. The worst of all, or at least for young Lottie, her mother never smiled. Not real ones. Just the fakes. Nothing she would do seemed to inspire even the twinkling of her mother's eye, nor a twitch of her perfectly rose lips. Lottie knew she could display these little moments of joy or admiration, for she had seen her mother around the little purebred dog thing (Lottie liked to refer to it as a thing rather than it's actual breed - mainly out of some unfortunate jealousy) prancing around the living room. Her mother never saw fit to entertain her only child and daughter even in the slightest, and now she near enough hates the woman, though they are on some kind of 'same side' in trying to escape this whole situation with Lottie's father and the crime organization. It was lucky her mother was able to contact Will just in time - Lottie is able to appreciate that at least.
