As Sky felt Alex start to move, he slowly opened his eyes and loosened his grip on him. A smile rose on his face, but it was quick to fall when he saw the way Alex shut his eyes. Sky could tell he was probably having the worst headache of his life. Sky got up slowly, deciding not to talk yet. Getting up quickly, he crawled over Alex and went to the kitchen. He began to rummage through the medicine cabinet, quickly finding extra-strength Advil. He then poured a glass of water before returning to Alex. "Here, I got some Advil. Don't take it yet if you feel sick." Skylar said, speaking quietly as he set both the Advil and water down on his nightstand. He then moved to sit down on the edge of the bed by Alex's legs.

The room was far too bright for his liking, far too bright for his eyes to handle, and in an added attempt to ease the pain that opening his eyes brought on he turned his head into the pillow. He felt as Skylar got up, and then as he was crawled over, and though a part of him knew he should greet him he found himself fearing what sound would do if simply opening his eyes had nearly sent him writhing in pain. So he stayed quiet and still until he heard Skylar returning to the room a few minutes later. Hearing his softly spoken words, Alex moved to sit up and then cautiously opened his eyes. Again the pain increased, shooting through his head like a bullet, this time however he only squinted instead of closing his eyes entirely. He let his gaze fall first on Skylar before he slowly looked toward the nightstand. He'd said not to take the Advil if he felt sick, and while his stomach was rolling with nausea, his head hurt far too badly for him to care about that. "So... when do I take it then?" He asked after a moment, flinching at the sound of his own voice. He glanced at Skylar before he leaned over to grab the glass of water and take a sip.

Skylar turned to look at Alex once he spoke. "Well, if you throw it up, I'll just give you another one." Skylar replied, glad he didn't drink as much as Alex did. "So take it I guess." Sky said, shrugging his shoulders. Sky then moved to sit closer to Alex, letting a soft smile rest on his face. He spoke quietly, being considerate, since he knew Alex's head was throbbing. Looking down, he realized he wasn't dressed yet, and he went outside his room. His mother didn't know yet, so thank god she wasn't awake yet. Pulling his eyes away from what he'd done to himself, he got up and walked over to his dresser. He really didn't want to wear a hoodie, so he settled for a plain black long-sleeve shirt. He kept his shorts on since they mostly covered his thighs. Content with what he was wearing, he moved to sit back down beside Alex.

The idea of throwing up was less than appealing and gave Alex pause in his decision to take the Advil. He considered just not taking it and laying back down, but the pain in his head was bad enough for him to ultimately decide that the risk was worth it. He didn't glance Skylar's way as he felt him rise from the bed and instead leaned over to grab the Advil that had been set out for him. Popping the pill into his mouth he brought the glass of water to his lips and drank just enough water to get the pill down. His stomach didn't seem impressed with either the pill or the water, but he didn't feel like he needed to make a dash for the bathroom... yet anyway. Carefully setting the water down on the nightstand once more Alex let out a pained sigh and turned his gaze to Skylar, watching momentarily as he sat down again. "I am never drinking again." He complained with a groan and a slight shake of his head. In the moment he meant it, though a part of him knew that he'd likely end up at least having a taste of alcohol at the next party he found himself at.

Skylar chuckled at Alex's claim to never drink again. "Yeah, that's what they all say. I said those exact words when I had my first bad hangover." Skylar replied with a soft chuckle, trying not to speak too loudly for Alex's sake. "You'll be okay." Sky then said after a moment of silence. Humming softly, he looked over at Alex. Sky was expecting him to rush to the bathroom as soon as he woke up, but maybe that was just him after drinking too much. Skylar chuckled to himself, thinking about the first time he got hungover badly. Sky stared at Alex, wondering how much he remembered from last night. Sky had hoped Alex didn't remember most of it, but Sky also didn't think he drank enough to black out.

Alex leaned back slightly and turned his gaze to look at Skylar upon hearing him chuckle. He wanted to curl up and hide beneath the blankets but he forced himself to remain seated. At Sky's words, he arched a brow before smirking faintly. "Uh-huh." He said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sure you kept your distance from alcohol for a while after it though." He said, his gaze continuing to rest on Skylar. "You sure about that? Because I feel like I'm dying." He said after hearing Sky's assurance that he would be fine. He had made sure he spoke softly, not daring to speak any louder. After a few moments, Alex moved to sit on the edge of the bed next to Skylar, his movements were slow. He worried moving two things would cause his head to hurt worse and likely irritate his stomach further until he did end up rushing to the bathroom.

Skylar smiled softly at Alex, chuckling at his reply. "Yeah, I did stay away from it for a good while, was scared to drink again, but ended up drinking again." Sky replied, sighing softly. "Yeah, you'll probably feel better after throwing up, if you do throw up. Apart from the headache, that shit lasts like all day, hopefully the advil kicks in soon." Skylar said quietly, his voice almost a whisper. He didn't want to make Alex's hangover worse. Skylar moved to turn off his LED light, despite them being quite dim. He then moved to the curtains and shut them more, only letting a little sunlight seep through. Moving back to the bed, he sat down slowly.

Alex gave a slight dip of his head, the best nod he could manage as he heard Skylar's response. He was confident that he wouldn't touch alcohol for a while. Even now the very idea had his stomach turning. He clenched his jaw slightly as a strong wave of nausea hit and closed his eyes tightly. "I am absolutely determined NOT to throw up." He said only after the surge of nausea subsided enough for him to feel comfortable talking. He meant it, he didn't want to spend his morning throwing up until his stomach was satisfied, especially with Skylar present. The very idea had him all the more determined to ignore the nausea and do whatever he could not to throw up. When Skylar moved he inclined his head toward him, watching as he turned off the LED lights and then closed the curtains more. Now with the room far more dimly lit, he dared open his eyes a little further. "Thanks..." He said softly after a moment and offered Skylar a small but warm smile.

Sky nodded his head slightly. "No problem, but you really should just throw up and get it over with. Trust me you'll feel better." Sky said, hoping Alex would at least go to the bathroom. The more he tries to hold it in, the worse he will feel. Sky can understand him not wanting to do it while he was there. It was disgusting, but Sky didn't care too much. Sky just wanted Alex to feel better. "I don't think holding it in will make you feel any better." Skylar said, looking towards Alex.

Alex let his gaze rest on Skylar, taking in the sight of him despite the headache throbbing in his head. He listened to his response and then hearing his next few words he grimaced at the idea and looked away. "That is the last thing I thought I'd ever hear you or anyone else encouraging me to do." He said, a hint of amusement in his tone. To think that he was being encouraged to throw up... gross, but amusing as well. If he didn't feel so poorly he was pretty sure he would have laughed at the idea. "I don't see how throwing up is going to make me feel better though..." He said after hearing Skylar suggest that it would. He threw a glance in the direction of the bathroom before turning his gaze back to the male at his side.
