Bluejay stood, watching everyone and their subtle movements. Turning their attention from one wolf to another to him and back around again. He took a breath and exhaled as he spoke. "As we go forward some things are going to change for both packs. For one, the first issue, the beta. I've put thought into it and think it's best if their are two. One from both of the original packs to keep me informed on problems and changes that could make things run more smoothly. If I could speak with two elders. One from each pack, and the same for two younger wolves. So this wat we get both wisdom, and a modern look on things." He stopped for a moment seeing if everyone understood. "Well that's all I've really got so explore, and mingle with your new pack members." His voice was optimistic as the sun beat down on him. He firmly planted his foot and got ready for a major tradition. When a new alpha is chosen, they lead the first howl of the pack. It signifies their new rule. He took in a large breath and raised his head as the loudest sound he had ever made shook the very trees themselves.

Luna looked around as she listened to Blue Jay. The only elder in Storm Pack was Kayleron, and the old male didn't look too pleased to be away from his den, surrounded by others. The white female wondered who would end up being the two betas her new mate would pick. She noticed a few females eyeing Blue Jay as though they would have a Chace with them and she rolled her eyes before she turned back to look at Blue Jay. She wondered how young the younger members would be that Blue Jay would talk to.

He finished his howl and stepped down from the platform. And started trotting around the battle hole where everyone was, he spotted Luna. In all fairness it wasn't hard, she stuck out like a sore thumb. Her white coat perfectly fluffy and just adorable to him. Everyone was wondering and seemed to enjoy themselves. He smiled to himself and made his way down threw the people to Maya and Luna.

Luna looked at Blue Jay as he walked over and gave a small smile. "Kayleron is going to be the only elder for Storm Pack" she said motioning to the old gray male who stuck to the far back. There were hints of brown in his coat, indicating he used to be a darker color. "Though I'm not sure you'll get much out of him." She fought back trying to nuzzle Blue Jay in front of everyone as Maya made her way over.

As she motioned to the far back to Kayleron. "Well, It should make him happier and not grumpy." He chuckled as she nuzzled him. "I just need info to keep everything in line." As he saw Maya walking over he sat down beside Luna and waited for Maya, knowing she would either have questions or info.

Luna shrugged. "He's, odd. Nothing seems to make him happy anymore" she replied before Maya reached them. "How young are you thinking of talking with you Blue Jay" Maya asked as she watched both Luna and him. She couldn't place her paw on it, but it seemed they were hiding something, but it wasn't her place to ask or pester.

He nodded. "Maybe he just needs a new good change." His voice trailed as Maya arrived and asked how old the young adults would be. "I was thinking maybe 2 but no older then 3. And they need to have insight and don't act extremely juvenile." He wonders if that even made sense.

Maya nodded mostly to herself before she mentioned a name. "Echo might be your best bet. He just finished his training and he acts a bit more mature than others" she offered as she sat down. She looked at Blue Jay ad Luna laid down.

He looked at Maya as she laid down and tilted his head out of curiosity. "Echo. I don't believe I've met him." He looked to Luna and back to Maya. "If it isn't of any trouble can you two introduce me to him?" He was still getting used to this hole thing, he knew they wouldn't say no as they had nothing to do but still, he didn't want to bark orders left right and center. He took a breath and stood up as his parents walked over as well. Likely to present an elder. He looked behind him and was right. "Please, come with us, we're about to meat one of the young betas." He looked back at Luna as his eyes watched the sun dance on her fur.

Maya nodded before she stood up and walked over to Echo, a slender dark gray male. "Come with me. You and Kayleron are needed" she said as she had the two follow her to Blue Jay and the others. She saw Luna following Blue Jay already and made sure Kayleron and Echo were following as they reached their new alpha.
