Luna finished howling and stood up, a new fire in her eyes. She looked to Blue Jay. "I want to help the packs merge, but not allowing Nyra help rule. They need to see a new life, one you've shown me" she said before she looked around her, wondering how it would happen, but knowing it needed to. *They dont know how good of a life is out there.*

Bluejay held back a scoff at her name. He held back his tongue and simply nodded, he didn't want her in power, she seemed cruel and mad at everything. "Yes everyone should get to live their best life." He turned to the pack who had seemed to finish. "We have a feast after a wolf has passed, like a night dedicated to their memory. It is ready when you are." He sat still and just looked to the moon with his eyes closed.

Luna nodded. She felt slightly hungry, but wasnt sure how much she would be able to eat. She looked to the moon before she began to walk back to the camp. "Do you think it's possible to merge the packs without Nyra being in charge?" The parts of her pelt not covered in mud looked almost ghostish. "I should probably get cleaned up. Come with me" she asked. "I only know of the river to rince off at, and if there is somewhere else, can you show me?"

He tilted his head, not knowing if it was possible, he supposed it was if they had some other daughter, but who knew. "I'm not certain." As she quickly changed the subject he understood, as it was an awkward conversation. "Yeah, there is a pond past the dens a fair ways. I can take you their if your that worried about being messy." He chuckled, why does everyone find dirt uncomfortable? It was so much fun.

Luna shrugged. "Not that I'm worried, it just feels odd. Being in Storm Pack, well, I was never really allowed out and around." She was sure she would get used to the mud as she was out and about more, but for now, she did want to get cleaned up. She was glad Blue Jay was going to go with her and show her the way. She glanced around when she thought she saw something move and narrowed her eyes slightly. When she saw it was a rabbit, she grew curious if she could catch it at least. She lunged forward, managing to grab it by the leg, holding it strangely as it moved, unsure of how to kill it.

He didn't take that into account, but it made since. But as he turned around he saw she had a rabbit. "Okay, well, just as quickly as possible crush either its skull or heart and ribs." He was caught off guard by this, sure he heard a rustle but he didn't pay it mind. "That was a very clean catch though." He gave words of encouragement as it would build confidence as well.

Luna quickly finished the rabbit before looking at Blue Jay. "Sorry, didnt mean for that to be random. I just wanted to see if I could catch it." She smiled as she watched him. "Do you want to share it right now" she asked.

He looked at her and chuckled. "Well, if it's your first catch you eat it all yourself." He looked forward as the rest of the pack was nearing camp, and back to her. "C'mon, I've got q few ceremonial things to do, so do you. Then we can eat and clear off." He spen up so he wouldn't loose the pack, even though he knew the way just fine.

Luna nodded, though she figured she would wait to eat it and followed Blue Jay closely. She carried the rabbit proudly as she kept pace with the male. She wondered what else needed to get done. She knew Storm Pack had their rituals, but she hadnt seen them. *It's nice to see the different ways of the packs* she thought.

As they entered camp he broke off from the group, as they all seemed to get seated. He motioned for Luna to come up with him. "My fellow pack members, tonight we eat in memory of the departed. Not only her father, but all of them. From pups who didn't make it, to those who died in battle and of old age and disease. Tonight we show remorse and tell stories of those who we have lost. " He stepped off to the side. Hoping Luna would take the que to tell at least one memory of the wolf they had just buried.
