"Oh, trees..." Austur said. He tucked hsi tail between his legs and baked up as the snake lunged. He growled as the wriggly little worms approached. Then, he noticed one eating a mouse. He scampered over to it and dropped his stick, pinning the snake down with his paws. Surprisingly, the mouse popped out of its jaws. He sunk his claws in, then grabbed the mouse and scurried off to go hide in some non snake filled bushes.

Nodding her head, Arrow flipped around to grab Ember. Once she was secured in Arrows jaws, she raced out of the den. Placing Ember next to Austur, she started looking for high ground if the snakes might make their way out of the cave. "Austur! Either climb a tree or come with me, Ember and Scarlett back to the camp! Make your choice quick!"

Still holding a mouse, he scrambled up the nearest tree, a thin/spindly young one. The branches bent slightly under the weight but he managed.

Arrow raced back to camp with her daughter at her side. She had heard Rowan saying something to Austur, but didn't turn back to see what it was. When She was back at camp, she started looking around for Huo.
