Drift opened his jaw to respond to the tiny pup, but froze in his tracks when he saw the little wolf's eye color change. He took a step back, confused and frightened at this strange turn of events. What the hell?? He thought to himself, narrowing his eyes as he made sure to keep his distance from the pup.

"Oh, is somthing wrong with my eyes? OH NO," Night shade yelled suddenly trying to run away, But dagger's long wings grabbed him.

Drift shot a look at Dagger. Is this guy seriously planning on adopting this pup? He thought incredulously. Speaking of pups though... Drift shifted his gaze away from the two melanistic wolves and raked his eyes over the crowd, searching for Wisp and Angel, curious to see how his little pup was doing. Not seeing them, he grew curious. Where are they? Turning back to Dagger, he glanced once more at the pup before speaking. "Hey Dagger, have you seen Wisp and Angel?" He asked, not realy concerned, just curious.

Drift flinched. The pups cries were loud. "What do you mean, the pack is in danger?" He prompted, stepping closer to the pup and trying to grab his attention.

Drift stared at the pup for a moment, thinking hard. His head jerked up as he realized. No... He started to panic, and let out a loud howl, getting the attention of every wolf in the pack. "Dragon incoming!" He yelled, knowing he'd probably cause panic, but he needed to warn everyone. His howl echoed through the silent ranks of wolves as they stared at him, their faces not yet registering his words. He snarled in annoyance and, with a jolt of terror, realized that he still didn't know where Angel was. He shot a wild glance at Dagger, thoughts filling his mind of what might happen to his pup.
