*she gently laid her head on his shoulder and softly said* sometimes i wonder what would have happened if i had been powerful enough to protect her

"We all wonder what we could've done in the past, but that was the past, and you can't control it but the future, you can control that." Sylvester said, trying to act wise and comforting.

*she gave a little side nod and said* that's true (i kinda want her to cutely fall asleep lol, she doesn't sleep much anyway)

He nodded, feeling at peace as he gently patted her head.

*she went limp as she fell asleep, looking adorable* (insert ship vibes)

He smiled softly as he carefully laid her down and picked her up bridal style. He remembered how he used to do this with his sister when she was younger before she went to be. She would pretend to sleep and Sylvester would pick her up and carry her to bed. He missed her. Sure, Irene was a bit spoiled and a brat at times but she was still his sister. And of course, he felt like he abandoned her and was not even helping her escape their parents. He felt...selfish. As he gently put her on the bed, he sat in a chair nearby, lost in his own thoughts.

*when he sat in the chair, she reached out, wanting cuddles, and also to cheer him up*

He looked at her, his emotions unreadable but he was clearly thinking. "Not tonight Star." He said, huffing as he walked out.

*whines and curls up with his hoodie, cuz of course she is gonna steal his hoodie*

He rolls his eyes as he sits down on the bed, acting like he mad as he cross his arms, sitting on the other side of the bed.
