Merlin | Alpha | Male | M: Everyone except Recon,Doji, and Dev
The large brute came to his bearings ignoring Echo’s nudge. Though it brought him back to reality. He was beginning to disassociate from what was going on. Maybe from the lack of water? Or he was still in shock. Maybe he wanted to act like he was alone and not be around others. Anything to daydream or twist his reality and dream to escape his responsibility. He shook his body releasing the tension that stuck his fur like snow in the winter. Though it didn't help relieve any of the pressure he felt. He lashed his bushy tail and it remained curled to his back. His fur began to bristle at everyone's small talk. He just wanted to get going. His head was pounding against his skull. He tightly shut his eyes hoping it would just blur away. Though it didn't fade away like he hoped. He began panting to help relieve the headache and cool himself down in this heat. His yellow eyes looked out to the direction of the river again.
He felt Timber jump off his back. That means everyone was awake. Good, that means time for water.
He ignored anyone trying to speak to him. He was done with the small talk. It was time to move and get everyone a drink of water. He had a plan after that, but he wanted to make sure everyone was well adjusted. Then he could say his plan. He looked back to the orders.
He barked loudly for everyone to hear “Everyone to the river! And if anyone goes off by themselves, you will be punished. I have a set in stone plan. I will tell you all at the river when everyone has a chance to get a drink and calm down. Now let’s go. If you wanna stay behind and be left for dead, be my guest. I'm sick of doing their own thing and if your actions have consequences due to your own disobedience. That’s your own fault.. I want a headcount after we get to the river and everyone gets a drink. If you leave off your own after that. No one will come find you.. Now let's roll out.."
Merlin was out of character being fierce and ordering everyone. But times have changed. Merlin knew he was harsh. But their luxurious world has crumbled now. Time to face their new harsh reality. He turned his back to head to the river without hearing anyone’s protest or complaints. His tardiness to Recon’s howl aggravated him even more.
