Macy was looking out the window as a light snow began to fall. It wasnt much but still, it was pretty. Just then Macy saw two cats walk past her window. She smiled before standing up. She then quickly made her way to her escape hatch. As she stepped onto the cold ground she shivered a little. When your used to a warm inside, the cold outside can be quite, well cold. As the snow crunched under Macy's paws she made her way to where she last saw the two cats. When she got there the two cats were gone but Macy could easily find them by following their paw prints. And that's what she did, her pink collar's bell giving her away.

Mouse sniffed the air. Another cat(Drat)? She looked around, her eyes narrowing. Ah whatever, if it was another cat, they would probably attack me by now, she trotted around the alley, sniffing all the pieces of junk. She finally came to a metal can. She was right. There was another cat. The cat(Drat) was hiding behind it. Mouse peered at them with caution but her eyes gleamed with curiousity.

Gatsby padded down the road, the wind rippling through his fur. He shivered, but continued on, towards the alley he hung out in when he was outside. He was mostly ignored by the people he passed, and kept his eyes out for any familiar cats.

As the sent got stronger Macy smelled another cat smell. She stopped as the wind blew to smell the air. Gatsby! Macy forgot all about the two cats as she followed Gatsby's smell. She found herself trotting instead of walking like she had just been doing just a second ago. As she trotted down the snowy streets the sent got stronger and stronger. After a couple minutes Macy spotted Gatsby. She quickly hide behind a trashcan before jumping out as Gatsby walked by. She pinned him with a smile on her face. "Got ya!"

Tiger Lily kept walking. She heard a clash and raised her head her ears pearked up and she let her front claws partly slide out. She swivled her ears around and the golden fur along her spine bristled slightly.

Desert Rose flattened her ears as she heard the sound. Her light russet fur stood up slightly and her blue green eyes widened. "What was that?" She whispered

Gatsby hissed in surprise, and shoved the she-cat off of him, giving her a smirk.

"Did you miss me that much?"

He flicked his tail, and shook some snow off of him. Ignoring the pesky cat, Gatsby turned, and continued on his way to the alley, keeping his eyes out for mice. He knew that food was short outdoors in the winter, but he liked a good hunt.

Just as soon as she pinned Gatsby she was on the ground again. She laughed a bit before getting back up to her paws. Just as she got up Gatsby spoke, making Macy laugh even more. "Ha! You wish!" She joked before following Gatsby as he walked. After a minute of silence Macy spoke, "So what are we doing?"

Gatsby narrowed his eyes in annoyance, and picked up his pace. "I'm going to the alley. I don't know where you're going."

after a moment he stopped, seeing a bird. He crouched, and began to stalk forwards.

After a moment Tiger Lily allowed herself to relax. She looked over her shoulder at her sister " Come on, lets hunt"

"Ok" Desert Rose replied as she shook out her russet fur. The two cats walked side by side for a moment then stopped by the black strip of rock like substance.

Tiger Lily looked then bolted across, followed shortly by Desert Rose.

Macy sighed, clearly not wanted. She stopped as she watched Gatsby go. I thought we were friends. Macy thought with a frown. After Gatsby was out of sight Macy began to walk in the direction of her skin's den. Maybe i can refind the tracks. Macy thought as sniffed the air.
