The setting is ancient Greece, a time of war and worship. A particular war between two species has been ongoing for generations now, and the original reason for the war has been lost in time. The war is vicious, the hatred for the other side runs deep. Vampires and werewolves are mortal enemies and have no remorse for each other, and anyone who betrays the rules is killed with no thought. Well, that all ends whenever a symposium is held for both of the species to attend and learn more about each other, in hopes of the war ending. What will happen? Will there be new beginnings, or will it end it bloodshed?
Information
The world is currently ruled by vampires, and they are winning the war just by the skin of their teeth. Werewolves are stronger, but the vampires have a better strategy. There are certain villages and cities ruled by either of the species, and if the opposite species is caught there, they are killed upon sight. Some members of either species may be sympathetic and let the trespasser go, but this isn't usually the case. There is one leader and one commander for each species. The leader is the head of everything, the most important. The commander is who handles the war, and advises the leader as needed.
Vampires
Vampires are clever and cunning. They currently control the majority of the world, although the werewolves are making a strong comeback. Vampires possess a variety of abilities. They are able to get inside the heads of others, speaking to them and commanding them to do things. They have a second sense that allows them to read their opponent and know their next move, thus being able to get out of the way in time. If the chance arises, vampires may force an opponent or anyone they choose to drink their blood, which causes the drinker to become totally under their control. The drinker is entirely devoted to the vampire, and this can only be broken by the death of the vampire, or a special cure. Vampires are weakened in the sun, though it doesn't cause long term damage. They have sharp fangs that can vary in size and length.
Werewolves
Werewolves are incredibly strong and dangerous. They can shift at any time they choose, although it is a painful process to become a bipedal wolf. To become a feral wolf, it is completely painless. During a full moon, they lose all control. They shift into bipedals and become bloodthirsty killing machines, completely unstoppable until the sun comes up. Bipedal wolves are dangerous and horrifying. They can reach a height of up to 8'5, and have large, talon-like claws. Their teeth are bigger than the claws of lions, and are overall a horrible sight. Werewolves have the ability to speak to any sort of canine. At any time in human form, they may make their claws or fangs appear. They fight best under the moonlight, and become much stronger. As a human, they have an extra set of canine teeth on their top and bottom jaw. Their canine teeth are extremely sharp and painful.
