Skylar kept his gaze on Alex and watched as the male lay down beside him. Soon after Alex got comfortable, Skylar pulled himself up and moved over to Alex. He let his eyes trail over the male's face before settling on his lips. Closing his eyes and leaning in, Skylar kissed him slowly and intimately and almost as a way of saying sorry for what he put him through tonight. Pulling away, he let himself stare into Alex's eyes before kissing him on the forehead and resting his head on his chest. Despite everything that went down tonight, ending it off by falling asleep on Alex's chest was what he needed. Hiking a leg up, Sky tried his best not to flinch. Then, he closed his eyes. Sleep pulled him under pretty fast, and he was nearly out like a light.

Alex let out a soft sigh as he lay down, the urge to close his eyes hitting him the moment his head hit the pillow. He refused to do so, not wanting to fall asleep so quickly. When he felt as well as saw Skylar move he looked over at him and raised a brow. At the kiss he paused a moment in slight surprise before he kissed him back, allowing himself to relax and enjoy this. When Skylar pulled away only to place a kiss against his forehead, Alex closed his eyes and smiled faintly. The smile remained on his lips even as Skylar moved to lay down, resting his head on his chest. Despite the confusion and the chaos of the day, despite what had happened earlier, Alex was certain that this was the perfect way to end the day. Lying in bed with Skylar, feeling his body pressed against his own. Though he glanced at the tv for a brief moment, Alex was quick to turn his gaze to Skylar, watching him for a long moment before he sighed softly. "Goodnight." He whispered once he was sure that Skylar was asleep. Turning his gaze back to the tv he tried to watch the entirety of the movie but he hadn't watched much of it before he had ended up falling asleep as well.

Sky woke up the next morning and barely remembered most events from the chaotic night. He didn't mind not remembering much, but he had a painful reminder from one of the events. After raising his head slightly off Alex's chest, he looked at the sleeping beauty. A small smile formed on his lips before he looked away and resumed getting up. He made his wait to the bathroom, and as he pulled down his pants he sucked in a breath at the pain. "Fuck man." He whispered, glancing down before going to the bathroom. He thought about showing, but didn't want to risk Alex seeing anything, so he decided not to and came out of the bathroom to put on a shirt. He grabbed a random t-shirt and put it on. He threw Alex a quick glance before leaving his room to go to the kitchen. A reminder of the night before was on the table, and it almost made him groan. Sighing, he went through the bag before taking out the snacks and putting away the food that shouldn't have been left out all night. After doing so, he got himself a glass of water before sitting on one of the island stools.

Alex had slept far more soundly than he would have thought he might considering all that had transpired the night before. He shifted slightly when Skylar woke and moved off the bed, but he didn't wake up. Instead, he rolled onto his side and drew in a breath, nuzzling his face into the pillow his head was resting in. He wasn't sure how long he slept for, only that by the time he'd slowly begun to open his eyes and rejoin the waking world, sunlight was filtering into the room and lighting it with its rays, and Skylar wasn't lying on the bed next to him. He was still for a moment before he furrowed his brow and then moved to look over his shoulder and sit up. He was half expecting to see Skylar there but when he didn't, he felt a jolt of worry shoot through him. Any remnants of sleep fled as he quickly moved to stand up off the bed and head out of the room to try and find Skylar. He was worried, after how Skylar had been the night before he was concerned that something else had happened while he'd been asleep.

Skylar pushes himself away from the island so that he could kick his feet. He looked around his quiet home. His mother wasn't anywhere to be seen, and she hadn't texted him or checked on him last night. Maybe she thought he was alright since Alex was there, and maybe she didn't hear anything. Sky furrowed his brows at bit but then they relaxed after thinking for another moment. He assumed she was asleep and didn't heard anything or had headphones on. Looking back at the island, he grabbed his glass of water and brought it to his lips before drinking the rest.

By the time Alex reached the kitchen he had all but worked himself up into a panic, so the moment he saw Skylar sitting at the island with a glass of water in hand he came to an abrupt stop. His eyes widened in surprise and before he could stop himself he was letting out a breath of relief and making his way over to him. His heart was still beating rapidly but he did his best to ignore it, just as he did his best to shove aside all the concerns and negative thoughts and worries that had been racing through his mind moments ago. "Morning..." He said when he was confident that his voice wouldn't betray the panic he'd felt moments ago, as he moved to the island and slowed to a stop a short distance from Skylar.

As he set the glass down, he immediately turned his head when he heard Alex's voice. "Good morning." Skylar said, smiling at Alex before grabbing him by his shirt. Looking up at the male, he slowly pulled him in for a kiss, a quick one since they both had morning breath. "You hungry?" Sky asked, still gently holding onto Alex's shirt. Slowly, he let his hand trail down Alex's body before letting it fall back into his lap.

Alex paused, his eyes widening slightly and his cheeks reddening when Skylar grabbed his shirt and pulled him into a kiss. He tensed a little as a flood of embarrassment washed over him, though he didn't pull away. He hadn't brushed his teeth yet, actually, he realized, he hadn't brought his toothbrush or anything along so brushing his teeth and getting rid of his morning breath would have to wait until he was back home. Clearing his throat he he looked away from Skylar a little hastily upon hearing his question, and let his thoughts wander to the feeling of Sky's hand still grasping at his shirt before he let it go in favor of trailing his hand down his body before returning to his lap. "A little... yeah." He answered after a moment. He kept his gaze away from Skylar for a moment before he glanced back his way.

Skylar nodded after hearing Alex's reply. "Okay, what do you want?" Skylar asked, getting up. He softly grabbed Alex's waist before letting his hand trail across his stomach as he made his way around him. Once his hands were free, he grabbed his empty glass and put it in the sink before turning to look at Alex. Whatever he wanted, Sky wanted to make for him. In a way it was to make up for the shit he pulled yesterday, but obviously he needed to do more to feel like he actually made up for it. He gave Alex a soft smile and rested his elbows on the island.

Alex chewed at the inside of his cheek as he watched Skylar move to stand. Hearing his question he hummed softly in thought before giving a shrug. "Eggs and toast sound good." He said after a moment. While that wasn't a lie, he also didn't want to say anything that required a lot of work. Then again, eggs meant cooking... perhaps he should have said cereal or something far more easily thrown together? His mind was pulled from his thoughts when he felt Skylar's hand grab at his waist before trailing across his stomach as he moved around him. He felt his body tense ever so slightly at the touch and he nearly shivered though he managed to keep himself from doing so. "Or we could have something more basic, like cereal..." He added after a moment of thought as he turned to watch Skylar.
