Name: Iris Gender: Female Age: 4 Pack: A Pack A territory: grassland Apperence: Iris has shorter fur than a lot of wolves do. A trait she shares with many members of her pack. Her tail, however, is covered in long fur. Her long legs make her fast, giving her an advantage over other wolves while hunting prey in A's territory. She is a bit smaller than average, putting her at a disadvantage in a fight though she is often quick enough to escape. Personality: Iris is a wolf that would appreciate a conversation, she just would like it if the other wolf started it. It can take a it for her to come out of her shell. she tries to be kind to other wolves but if somone makes it clear they they don't like her than her demeanor completely changes. She is more likely to argue or just ignore the other wolf completely than even attempt to be civil. Iris is cautious when it comes to other wolves, especially when it comes to confrontation with other packs. She is more likely to flee than to fight.

Name: Kael Frostfang Gender: Male Age: 4 (young adult in wolf years) Pack: B Apperence Kael is a striking wolf with thick, layered fur of charcoal black mixed with streaks of icy silver along his back and tail. His eyes are a vivid, piercing blue that seem to glow in low light, giving him an intense and almost intimidating presence. A faint scar runs across his muzzle, a mark from a past challenge that he rarely speaks about. His build is lean but powerful, built for speed and endurance rather than brute strength. His paws are large and silent, making him an exceptional tracker. Personality Kael is observant, calculating, and quietly confident. He rarely acts on impulse, preferring to watch and understand situations before making a move. Though he appears distant at first, he is deeply loyal to Pack B and will go to great lengths to protect those he trusts. He has a strong sense of independence and often walks the edge between lone wolf and pack member, which sometimes causes tension with more traditional pack wolves. Despite this, others respect him for his intelligence and calm leadership in dangerous situations. Kael is not naturally aggressive, but when pushed, he becomes fiercely determined and relentless. Beneath his stoic exterior lies a thoughtful and introspective nature—he often reflects on his place in the pack and the meaning of strength, loyalty, and survival.

The pack had traveled for what seemed like weeks even though it had been only a few days. The rocky landscape they had traveled through since they left their territory had no prey in sight. What few plants they came across were small and scraggly. The fire had destroyed the camp and burned away all the grasses. Prey wouldn't be back for a long time. Iris was walking near the edge of the group. The injured wolves walked in the middle with the alpha in the front and the beta at the back of the pack. Traveling was slow, slower than Iris would like but it was as fast as some wolves could go. She hated this barren landscape. The hot stone hurt her paws. She was hungery, they hadn't seen a mouse since they left their home. Vultures circled overhead, probably waiting for the wolves to waste away and die. Suddenly the wolf in front of her stopped. Iris almost bumped into her by mistake. She sniffed the air as did a few other wolves. She smelled plants. Not just a few weeds but the rich scent of thriving grasses. And maybe trees? She didn't know the scent well. She couldn't help it her tail started to wag slowly. They could finally hunt. Live here for a while while they waited for their grassland to recover. Her hopes fell as she noticed the smell of wolf. Another pack. |

Kael huffed in boredom as he traveled along the pack borders. Even as beta, he couldn’t stand patrol duty, but it was part of his responsibility, nothing he could afford to slack off on. Even the alpha took shifts, which many found rare. Shaking himself from his thoughts, he focused on his task. He paused at certain spots where the pack scent had grown faint, raking his claws along tree bark that had too much space between markings. Each mark was deliberate, reinforcing their claim. Halfway through his patrol, he stopped. His ears perked, and his body went rigid as a new scent hit him: multiple wolves. Different ones. Narrowing his eyes, Kael shifted direction and trotted toward the source. He needed to determine if they were a threat before deciding whether to call for his alpha. Kael moved silently through the underbrush, each step placed with practiced precision. The forest seemed to hold its breath around him, the usual sounds of wind and distant prey fading into an uneasy stillness. The scent grew stronger the closer he got to strangers. None of them belonged to his pack He slowed, lowering his body slightly as he approached the edge of a small clearing. Through the trees, he caught sight of them. Kael stepped into the clearing without hiding himself. “State your business,” he called, his voice low but firm.
