Appearance: Juniper is a light brown buck, like an acorn. He has a darker, mahogany stripe down his back, and that same darker color is around his neck and on the top of his head. His lower legs, his inner ears, and the tip of his snout are white. He also has a big white circle on his neck, and he's covered in white spots like the fawns of some other species. His tail is mahogany on top, white on the bottom. His hooves and antlers are silver, with the very tips being white. He has warm brown eyes.
Juniper has big antlers with lots of strong, sharp branches towards the back of his head, and big hooks near the front. His tail is longer than that of most deer, almost reaching the length of a dog's. The fur in his ears, on the top of his head, and under his tail is very spiky.
Personality: Juniper is very friendly and talkative. He has a playful, happy-go-lucky demeanor, and is rarely seen without a smile. He's incredibly friendly to others, perhaps agianst his own best interests given that he's a prey animal. He has a sassy side that comes out when other animals brag to him or insult him. Juniper is competitive and loves to win games, challenges, and sparring sessions, but he doesn't let this get in the way of being kind.
Despite his normally friendly demeanor, isn't unwilling to defend himself and in danger, and can do so fiercely.

Backstory*: He grew up in a close-knit family herd. He was always naturally friendly and talked to a great many other animals, learning new skills on the way. But when the disaster struck, falling rocks and fires killed his herd and destroyed his home. He's not used to life alone, and he's searching for a new herd to call his own.
