Finn continued to watch the male intently, now partly incase he fell, but mostly because he was so damn sexy. Finn knew that putting any weight on his bad ankle would hurt like a bitch, so when he saw Raihn do just that, he grimaced. He could tell that it still hurt Raihn a lot, he could also tell how badly Raihn wanted to try and hide the pain he was feeling. He couldn't fool Finn though. Finn made sure not to stare so intensely because that would be a little weird. He'd shift his gaze to the water every now and then. He shook his head as he watched him limp. Finn needed to make Raihn something so that it would make walking around easier. A crutch, a boot, or both. It would take entirely took long to make a boot, but maybe some sort of splint or plank of wood to keep it straight. If he got the wood, then he'd have to just tie it securely to his ankle. That could work. Finn's idea was perfect, and it made him extremely excited. It would help Raihn out tremendously, that along with the crutch. The splint thing would make sure his ankle was straight, and the crutch or cane would help him walk. Finn had a smile on his face as he thought about all the possibilities on how he was going to do it. He was for sure going to keep it a secret until he was done. After zoning out a bit, staring off into the distance, his gaze and attention returned back onto Raihn.

This was fucking excruciating. Each step had Raihn feeling light-headed with the pain, and he half wished he had something or someone to hold onto in case he did end up passing out. The last thing he needed was to drop like a doll into the water thanks to losing consciousness, especially in front of someone like Finn, who he didn't doubt would never let him live such a thing down. Not, he reminded himself, that he planned to be here long enough to really give the son of a bitch a chance to mock him frequently on such thing. What happened the moment that thought crossed his mind would have Raihn silently curing furiously in silence. He'd just finished taking a short break, allowing the pain in his ankle to ebb away before he took another step, or at least attempted to. His weak ankle, as tender and unstable as it was rolled with the rock that shifted underneath his weight and sent Raihn all but flying into the icy cold water of the river. He landed hard, the rocks lying beneath the surface knocking the wind out of him, and while that hurt, what hurt the most was his ankle which was burning and jolting him with stabbing pain. It took him several seconds to collect himself and push up and out of the water, drawing in a gasp of air as he did so.

As Finn watched, he was quick to notice Raihn just as he was about to fall. He grimaced when the male went under, getting second-hand embarrassment before standing up. He then ran over to the shore, hesitant to go in, so he didn't. A small smile rose on his face for just a second before the male rose back to the surface. He knew Raihn was struggling to walk, and that was destined to happen, especially since the rocks weren't that sturdy. He wasn't in deep water, so surely he wouldn't have drowned. That's why Finn didn't go in. If he didn't end up drowning in knee-deep water, being a grown man, that would be something for sure. "You need help?" Finn asked, his face still in a grimaced expression as he stared closely at the male who was gasping for air.
(Sorry this is so short oh my)

Humiliating and fucking infuriating, that's what this was. He couldn't believe that he'd fallen, that he'd embarrassed himself like that, and that he'd risked getting hurt even more than he currently was. When Finn asked if he needed help he grimaced and threw a glance toward him. His chest hurt, and while he had started to find breathing more tolerable, it was still difficult to do, as if his body didn't want to put in the effort to draw in any breath he so desperately needed. Fucking hell. "Yeah..." He said finally, but only because he'd both tried to stand and hadn't been able to but also because his ankle felt as though he had set it on fire. The coolness of the river helped, though only slightly. For a long moment, Raihn let his gaze rest on Finn, taking in the grimace he was making, and attempting to ascertain whether or not it was genuine.
((Mine is SUPER short... sooo sorry about that. >.>))

Finn carefully watched Raihn, silently hoping he'd accept his help. When he got the confirmation, Finn was quick to get in the cold water. He made his way over to Raihn, hesitant to touch him once he was standing over him. Helping Raihn up would require Finn to touch his bare body. The thought was arousing, which made Finn not want to. After a small pause, Finn moved to help Raihn up. When he got him up, he couldn't help but let his eyes wander down the male's chest to his waist. It was almost like Finn wasn't trying to make it subtle. After checking the male out a bit, he looked towards the shore before starting to make his way there. The feeling of Raihns body against his was cold and wet, yet so warm. Finn clenched his jaw, trying to not pay attention to what was happening.

Raihn hated the fact that he had to accept the help that Finn was offering. He honestly would have preferred to remain on his own and yet he was aware doing that would likely cause him more harm than good. When Finn moved into the water, Raihn let his gaze follow him, watching as he made his way over. He took note of the way the jerk hesitated in helping him up and that pissed him off as if he was some disgusting thing that someone wouldn't want to touch. He was fairly clean, or at least as clean as river water could get him. Asshole. Still, he allowed the bastard to help him up and then to aid him in walking over to the shore of the river. Not wanting to look at him, Raihn fixed his hand on the ground and so failed to notice the way that the guy had been looking him up and down. "Thanks." He said a little sharply, though he made no attention to correct his tone when he reached the sand of the river bank. He glanced briefly towards Finn before moving to pull away from him.

Once they got back to shore, Finn noticed how quick Raihn was to pull away from him. It slightly offended Finn since he was offering so much help and actually helping him. The least Raihn could do is be nicer, but he's failed to do so on many occasions. Raihn didn't even know what Finn was planning on doing for him, and the way he acted towards Finn makes him almost not do it. Finn had a subtle offended look on his face, glancing at Raihn for a moment before looking at the pile of clothes. Finn didn't want Raihn to embarrass himself any further, so without hesitation, Finn grabbed the pile of clothes and the soap they had brought down. With his arms and hands full, he walked back to the shoreline. He set everything down before squatting down. He then began to wash the clothes, grabbing Raihns very bloody pants first.

The sharpness that he spoke with, and the irritation that he felt, only eased for a brief moment when Finn grabbed his clothes, and the bar of soap, and headed to the shoreline before squatting and beginning to clean them. As quick as the guilt had come Raihn pushed it aside. Why should he feel guilty? It wasn't as if he'd asked Finn to do anything more than help him get out of the river... an argument he tried to make to convince himself not to feel even the slightest bit of guilt and yet it didn't hold up for long. "You know you don't have to do that... right?" He asked, and to his dismay, his voice was a lot softer and dare he say friendlier than it had been only moments before. He wanted to ask the guy why he was going so far to help him, especially considering that they very clearly didn't like one another. Wouldn't it have been far easier to simply leave him to deal with getting the blood from his pants on his own? He didn't ask these things though and instead moved to carefully sit down, making sure not to bump or jostle his injured ankle too much. As he did so, he found his gaze remained fixed on Finn, watching as he cleaned his clothes for him.

When Raihn had expressed that Finn didn't have to wash his clothes, he glanced back at him. It was true, Finn didn't need to, but he just did. "I know." Finn replied, just as soft as Raihn's voice had been. Finn was used to being the caretaker. He took care of Jinx and Aleria. Yes they were big girls and could do things for themselves, but Finn always found himself just doing them. He enjoyed it, and it made him feel good. Even though Finn didn't like Raihn, doing things for him while he is injured would be nice of him. It would make things much easier on Raihn, but Finn still kept asking himself why he cared. Was it because he was solely attracted to him, or was something deeper going on? Finn didn't know, and he didn't want to figure it out. Maybe he was starting to like Raihn? It was clear things would never work out since Raihn absolutely despised Finn. Finn couldn't understand how Raihn could be so disrespectful to Finn after everything he has been doing for him, it kind of baffled Finn. He continued to wash the male's clothes, trying to get the blood out the best he could.

Raihn continued to watch Finn as he cleaned his clothes, he wasn't entirely aware of the fact that he wasn't just watching the guy but soaking in the sight of him. He'd already admitted to himself that he found the guy attractive, but damn... It was only when that realization kicked in that he yanked his gaze away and, upon hearing Finn's answer, he dipped his head in a nod. "Thanks..." He said, again shocked at how soft and friendly his tone was. Had helping him out of the river and then cleaning his clothes been enough for him to start treating him differently? In the back of his mind, he was aware that Finn had done a lot more than the two things he'd brought up, but he refused to think about those. If he did, he knew he'd start realizing how indebted he was to him and to the two girls who were with him. Considering his situation being indebted to anyone wasn't a very good idea.
