Mine is a long story really. My name was Adventure in Spanish (Aventura) and then I shortened it to my nickname that people used (Aven) and I've kept it ever since. |

I was actually in the midst of a roleplay when I came across this name. My character had an affinity to poison and I needed a name for his pack, I popped "poison" into Google Translate and got "venenum".
Of course, with my amazing observation skills, I spelled it wrong and named my character's pack Vennenum instead. I applied a roleplay pack to Wolfplay thinking it a temporary name since I don't usually stay long on sim games, but it stuck. |

I was super obsessed with Greek mythology after having read an 11 book fiction series of Greek romances and Nyx was my absolute favorite character. Nyx is the personification/goddess of the night and my favorite time is the nighttime so it came pretty naturally for me to like the name. Mistress comes from my obsession with the word mistress, it's just always been a word I've been in love with and when you think about it, my name means "Mistress of the Dark" or "Mistress of the Night" and I really liked those. |
