a fox trap, imagine a peg with a metal wire that comes out of it and forms a circle. When tugged on, it will tighten and not untighten. The way to remove it is to either cut the wire or dig up the peg.

(also I only put Macy's leg in it lol, but it's possible she could've slipped it higher)
