Just making sure I understand this

Humans, I'm guessing, were transporting animals in crates but some of the crates fell and unleashed animals that are now hunting for everyone. If it's humans, are they like poachers or something?

This sounds like a good event to start with though

Pretty much got it in one. Poachers, hunters or rescue people. Now the humans have lost the crates and animals are out and about.
