Okay, let's see what I can do~
It really all comes down to construction lines (and practice, of course). Going to use this as a reference (belongs to Kati H on dawntheives.de).

From there I did a sketch with the construction lines. I don't often do this and it's kind of hard to see, but I drew a rectangle box in the middle of the wolf to show to show the "height" of the wolf's body, so to speak.

This is far from perfect (didn't focus too much on the legs, those are kinda off), and my anatomy isn't always spot on, but I hope this helps. ;u;
