It's just a whole thing with Ferre and Sanguinex. Sanguinex had wanted to be your deity's Champion, or at least an Avatar (for family drama reasons) but in his desperation he ended uo invoking Ferre instead in accident without even realizing it because well, he hadn't even known that Ferre existed. And so he accidentally and without even noticing it, became an Avatar for Ferre. The first one they'd had in a while. And then he... Almost, mhm, almost, Ferre totally didn't say no to actual death just near death, mhm... Died. So Ferre said no to near death. And Sanguinex became their Champion. So it's a whole thing. |

oh fun- fun fun fun. that sounds like Sanguinex is going to need a lot of therapy after this... hey so I need your help with one thing: I am trying to design my deity and I know I want them to be gender queer and appear as one gender for the most part but then appear as another in their mortal form, but do I want their deity form to be doll-based? they are the deity of free will so it would be funny if they were once a higher deity's puppet. |

Oh yeah. Sanguinex is from a village of families that worships your deity where to earn your spot you have to kill someone in your family as an offering to your deity. Lots of therapy needed for poor Sanguinex after having to kill his mom. He didn't become an avatar after that offering (gee, wonder why) so he was going to be banished from the village until he did become an avatar of your deity. Which never happened. As we know. - Technically all three deities were put in place by two young eldritch beings when their first project (Dreodoran and Polaris) failed. So... Kind of puppets? No worries by the way! The deities can have a lot of forms. Ferre's most comfortable form is a humanoid painted desert sheep. Can't believe we get a Goddess, a Genderqueer deity, and a Non-Binary deity. We love that. The deities all will also have an incredibly powerful form, near eldritch abomination honestly. At least Ferre's is incredibly terrifying. 'True forms' or whatever. - Another small note you guys can have. Ferre's already dealt with their curse once before. When they'd been forgotten. It had been stopped in its tracks after Sanguinex became their Champion. |

Yeah, my deity will be very furious when she hears that the mortals corrupted her image like this and might even ask Sanguinex for forgiveness after people who were supposed to follow her values did the exact opposite in her name- (speaking of name, I have yet to do that so hold onto your keyboards and pens people) I am such a sucker for eldritch horror man, but I am struggling to create what my deity should look like in their forms. Like, I could make him like the beasts from Bloodborne or more of a classic example, but either way, it makes deciding her looks more challenging- help! love the diversity in the deities though. so can ferre help? or I guess i should ask IF ferre will help? also oh my god the picrews let me go do them now- those look incredible! |

Sanguinex shrugging and being like: "Yeah, everything's fine. No worries. Ferre's pretty cool, so, uh, thanks for letting them corrupt their worship?" Dude has kind of gotten over it. He isn't Ferre's Champion and getting away with not being at least a bit unhinged (he wears his mother... kind of.). Murder means nothing to him. Good luck with the name! - That's fair. I looked at the sacred animals for Ferre, made a playlist, and kind of ran with vibes. - Haha- Well, at first, none of them will remember that they're deities. - I made picrews for less (but still mostly) human forms of Ferre. Also. Ferre is short. Like. Shorter than Sanguinex. Even in their most comfortable form. They short. To be fair, Sanguinex is a taller mortal. But they still short. They don't tower over mortals. Ferre has to look up at mortals most of the time. Like they a 5' 1" deity (at max, at least until they go eldritch horror on you) that definitely has gremlin energy. |

Yeah the Ferre people I am highly worried about... hence why we have the matricide supporter and crazed fan serving the same deity. the problem is, I love eldritch horror where either a) you are invading its terrory and it is claiming you as you have just entered or b) it is simply so much above you that it does not even acknowledge your existence or the damage caused by it being in your vacinity. my deity does neither of these things because she is both laid back and very empathic. i mean, I have two ideas but it is so hard to narrow it down... can I run them by you if thats okay? Ferre be crazy. Nhamo Acan, the name they have as a kind of mortal, has a lot of trauma too due to the fact that they look just like the human form of Ferre (who they actually are. not every deity will/has to, Ferre does, for reasons that you might could piece together from the Hmmm blog haha) Sanguinex doesn't support matricide, he's just kind of over it. He honors his mom now by wearing her fur (it was a village of omikyr/elk shifters) - Well, not every deity has to have a form of eldritch horror. Ferre does because what better for the diety of angst, time, and thought? You can totally run the ideas by me though! I love to hear about ideas! - Hahaha, yeah. Definitely will. Ferre is a total little terror. - Ferre loves them. I can already tell. Ferre tends to be obsessed with their Avatars and Champion, probably because they'd been without any for such a long time. Sanguinex is just their bestie because he was the first one and then almost (totally almost) died. |
