I was going to stick with just Doji and Merlin. But I feel I needed to added a more morally gray character to cause issues. (plus I am better at using villian characters for some reason)

Well since everyone is in the middle of nowhere and there is panic. What if Merlin doesn't have everyone's trust yet? Some could trust him and the beta but not all?

As for Affilations. Let's say Merlin. He would need someone to cover his weakness and him to cover theirs. Since everyone knew each over then he would know who to approach.

Maybe some might consider leaving but Merlin, the others, Anubis and Doji might not agree?

Only ideas that I'm tossing so feel free to reject or play around with them.

Maybe when merlin finally calms the pack down by the help of his beta let's say the begin journeying in a certian direction tho the plains seem to last forever they finally find a redwood forest?
