So Ive been playing WolfPlay for over five years now, but im still pretty confused on the rules regarding uploading, selling and giving away avys.

Can I use an actual animal stock photo from DeviantArt if it says in the description that we can use it for edits and refrences- as long as I credit the owner (and post a link in their comments). Because I'd assume that it would be alright as long as I didn't try to steal it as my own idea and as long as I credited and carried out any actions that the stock provider asked of me like post a link to my art or credit etc. Let me know please.
If I could get an informative reply from Sixbears that would be even better.

Yes, as long as the owner says it's ok to make edits and use it offsite, should be okay. If you're unsure, you can always message a mod.
