So. I'm Toffive if anyone is confused about who or what I am. Perfect, confusion fuels my mysterious personality.

Why the thread?

I want to learn how to draw. Yup, you heard right--an artist wanting to learn how to draw. It happens to everyone. But what I want to draw are canines. I'm strictly humanoid/human artist for a reason, I've studied the human body so much at this point I see everyone as lines and sketches. But since this is a canine game site...I should get with the program and learn a few things.

First: Heads. Canines are oddly shaped creatures( Aren't really but eh...?)So any help on starting the face helps.

Second: Snout?Muzzle? Nose....I will provide a sketch to explain.

And lastly. The freaking body. Like huh. I do not want to have the same pose syndrome for my canines.

Anyways. I want to learn how to draw......

Though I have a lot more practice drawing felines, I've noticed what helps with canines and felines is studying where things go. I usually start out with a sketch like this. For the snout make sure to make it larger than what you would for a cat but smaller than a horse, sorry if that's bad explaining 😭
Always make sure to build out the body, I usually start from the top of the head and extend out to the rest of the body
