As Kodak awaited her answer, he was still happy for the change in Lidiya. He was so glad she wasn't angry at him anymore. The way she had looked at him and treated him... it's like it was tearing at his heart. The thought of losing her, was unreal. Kodak smiled as she said she was okay, he kinda felt bad abou the whole shoved her into the wall kinda thing. If he had hurt her, even though he was trying to stay away from Ana, he couldn't think about it. But at her next statement, he couldnt deny it was true. He knew Ana, far better than he knew Lidiya, but if he knew Ana, she wouldn't give up until... until they mated. He knew that once that happened, she would most likely leave them alone. Which was what he wanted, but the whole mating part, he knew wasn't going to happen. He would respect Lidiya's choice, and if that meant they would have to deal with Ana for a whole other year, it was worth it. If Lidoya was happy. Kodak yawned and stretched before answering her next question. "I don't really know, but whatever you want to do, I'll go with you." He said itnwith such sincerity it even surprised him. Sure he needed and wanted rest. But they could still do something. And even as he thought about it, his stomach began to rumble loudly, answering it for him.

Lidiya laughed slightly, nose nudging Kodak's growling stomach. "I think your stomach answered that for you." They had only eaten the day before, but Lidiya guessed running made one hungry. As well as dealing with Ana, really.

Damn, but she hoped she didn't need to see that girl for a while. So evidently interested in Kodak she had unintentionally forced Lidiya to do the exact same thing.

Well, at least she was no longer mad at Kodak. Not like she really was at the beginning really, but Ana had forced that around to be obvious. Which Lidiya would have preferred to do in her own time, but... oh well. The end result was the same. All she needed to do now was to keep Ana away from Kodak.

Banishing the thoughts out of her mind, she trotted out of the den - at which point she stopped uncertainly.

She had no idea where to go for hunting. She wasn't familiar - at all - with this territory and the surrounding grounds for hunting that the pack would usually use.

"Uhh... do you know where to go?" she asked Kodak, looking up at his form, silhouetted against the evening light, his -
- once again thinking unproductive thoughts.

Try as she might, she still hated looking up to Kodak, and sounding like that as she asked her question. Weak. Not knowing. Lidiya was used to being strong and independent, and sounding like that - she didn't like it.

She couldn't know everything, though. She'd have to concede this if she needed to.

Kodak hadn't had food since he was a prisiner I'm the Grey Hill Pack. He had caught a rabbit for Lidiya, but after he caught the fish, and the... incident that happened, he never ate it. So it had probably been a good 3-4 days since his last good meal. He looked to Lidiya, after hearing her question. "On the way in, I saw a prey pile near the base of Alpha's hill. We can see if there is anything left. If not, we can try to go hunting. But if there is nothing we can always just come back here." He turned towards the entrance of the den, seeing if they were clear of Ana. For the time being, they were. Kodak turned back to Lidiya. "Follow me." He said, leading her out of the den and towards the prey pile he had seen earlier. Sure enough, as they got to the base of Alpha's hill, and steering clear of the medics den, there was the pile. About 3 rabbits, four squirrels, and a deer remained. He picked up two rabbits, one for him and one for Lidiya. Dropping one at her feet as she approached. He layed down, taking a monstrous bite into the little creature. The blood gushing into his mouth, and as he bit down on the fresh meat, the hungry began to ease its way out of his body. After he finished his bite, he looked up to the still standing Lidiya, and asked, "Care to join me?" His tail thumping the spot next to him eagerly.

Lidiya approached the prey pile a bit warily, and slightly guiltily, really. She didn't want to be imposing on the hospitality of the pack much more than she had to.

But the food was right there. And Kodak had already set aside a rabbit.

Even though she'd already eaten a day or so ago, that didn't mean she couldn't eat more. Rabbits weren't the best as food, and another one couldn't hurt.

Sighing quietly, she eased herself into the spot next to Kodak, and bit into her rabbit. It was... rabbit-y. Food. Which she honestly needed after doing so much running over the past few days.

In fact, where did the rest of them go? More correctly, Cooper couldn't have given up the chase that easily, most likely. But then... they were probably still a day or so behind. Whatever. Lidiya didn't want to think about it.

Staying silent, she slowly ate her rabbit, watching the sun set, and feeling Kodak's warmth against her flank.

Kodak.

Honestly, she didn't know what she thought of Kodak any more. What his scent did to her. Maybe it was because she was beginning to go into heat - maybe not. Whatever it was, Kodak's scent had always been... different, in a way. And it was still different.

Whatever it was, Lidiya knew one day she'd have to face it.
