Yutaka - Engineer - Mention(s): Flux (ind: Vasilios)

(yes please mentions lol)
~
(I don't take bionics so apologies to anyone that does)

Yutaka scanned the notes with a bit of a critical eye, nodding his head slightly. "Yeah, I think we could integrate this with our existing equipment. You'll need a microthread receptor link to connect the prosthesis' inputs to be completely coordinated with the human input, won't you? Or, maybe you could... ah, that makes sense. And..." his words descended into incoherent mumbling as he scanned the rest of the wrinkled piece of paper, tracing a line with his finger and unintentionally applying a line of almost transparent diluted oversaturated oil condensate on the page.

Maybe he hadn't washed his hands properly. But did he really need to? It wasn't like oversaturated oil condensate was too toxic in any way. Mainly because no-one had tried it before, but still.

Plus, if he wiped it on enough surfaces the diluted fluid would wipe itself away. That was the mentality, at least - he wasn't the cleaner. The others had to take turns wiping the deck, to sweep away whatever they brought in with them.

He unconsciously wiped his hands on the seat of his pants as he nodded, sheet of paper still in his hand as he turned back to Flux. "It's looking promising," he said, nodding. At least Flux understood what he was saying - most of the crew asked for "layman's terms" and to "dumb it down a bit". Really, what were they? It couldn't be that hard to follow along with his talk. (Usually it was.)

"You might need to tweak the polar connection system slightly though. I doubt Vasilios's existing receptable ports are completely compactible with some of these new-fangled interceptors they're rolling out nowadays." He nodded, then motioned to hand the paper back to the cook-slash-inventor. "I can help you get some of that, though, if you want. There might be some compactible microthread receptor processors in my store room, if you want to have a look." At least Flux wouldn't mess with the organization like some of the others did. "Plus, I'm heading out because we need a new Boze-Einstein coherence regulator. The old one kaput itself by imbalancing the condensate. I can get some of the stuff on this list that you need too on the way." If I remember to, which I hope I will. "Just need to run it past Cap first then we're good." He smiled.

Vasilios | Mentioned: Quillus, Dallas, Mylo
"Tch," Vasilios tutted, not all that convinced that Quill was here for absolutely no reason - sure, the man certainly made his rounds of the crew to find someone to drag into his office but not at this time of night. Still, he didn't have the time to ponder over what had brought Quill over here whilst he had Mylo and the crew's number one idiot to handle.
"Ah, so thas why the cut is still clean and doesn't have some kinda corrosive substance in it yet." He quipped.

Eyes narrowing, he looked over his shoulder as Dallas, brow furrowing. "Thas as little as I am flesh and blood - not very." the medic grumbled. "Keep more pressure on it, ya dunce."

Though, his gaze did soften considerably as the other man gave Urchin a well placed pat and scratch. As frustrating as Dallas was, he could always appreciate his care and softness directed towards the dragons - his own especially. The spiny beast had a bit of a bad rap amongst the pirates, but she truly was a sweetheart. Hearing her contented clicks and purrs was always pleasing.

He could practically hear the cogs whirring in Dallas's brain as he tried to work out the answers to two incredibly simple question, a concussion was beginning to sound more likely. He'd have to confirm once the bleeding had stopped, the cut really did look quite deep and some nasty swelling was inevitable.

"You focus on answering those questions 'n stopping the bleeding, I'll give you an ice pack if ya' want one once the bleeding has slowed." He added.
Looking back to patient number one, that being Mylo, he pressed his fingers tips a little harder against the man's side, just trying to get a proper feel for everything. Mylo was incredibly stoic and not to mention tough, Vasilios was beginning to grow concerned that his ribs may have actually been broken rather than just cracked - considerably more severe. "Sorry, mate." He breathed "This'll hurt a bit."

Urchin | Mentions: Dallas, Quill, Tiamet
With a well natured rumble and another smack of her tongue against Dallas's face, the dragon got back to her feet. This room was beginning to get juuust a little crowded for her. With a slow and satisfying stretch, she greeted the humans within the room with a few more friendly clicks and chitters before nosing her way out through the door. Sightlessly, she navigated her way through the corridors of the ship, pin-like legs tapping against the floor as she walked leisurely. Feeling the subtle rush of cool air, she could tell she was near an open door and Urchin stalked out into the cool night. Though she would never see the stars, she had an innate draw and fondness of the dark hours.

Lifting her spiny head, she caught the familiar scent of another venomous dragon nearby. Spiny tail clacking as it raised up and flopped happily from side to side, she chirped to the other dragon - unable to work out exactly who it was from this distance.

Ava/Cassiopeia - Mentions: Everyone
~
Help. I need to find help, Cassiopeia thought to herself while flying as fast as she could without dropping her human from her claws. This idiot! How many times do I have to warn her about dangerous berries? Just what did she try to eat this time? Gosh... can't even take my eyes off her for a minute.
~
A loud thud was heard coming from the top of the space ship alarming the crew. It was an unfamiliar dragon...carrying an unconsious human girl, landing on their spaceship. The dragon looked to be in panic, and was desperately trying to get attention. Cassiopeia knew that her human needed help, and she didn't know what else she could do other than seek out the closest humans she could sense around.

Tiamat | Mentions: Urchin, Cassiopeia, Ava.

Her head was hanging low, feeling the pull of sleep after a long day of sitting and staring. Blue and black eyes blinking slower and slower as the minutes ticked by. Only when a dark shape pushed its way out from the lower deck did Tiamat’s head lift up quickly, trying to squint in order to figure out what it was. Her shoulders tensed as Tiamat leaned forwards, gripping tightly onto the mast to ensure she wouldn’t go flying off of her perch unexpectedly.

At the vaguely familiar sound, Tiamat’s ears pricked upright and her wings let go of the mast, flaring wide in excitement. It was the dark one, with spikes. She liked that one. Shifting her feet from side to side, preparing herself, Tiamat sized up the ship below before diving down from the mast. Wide wings gliding her down towards the other dragon, a light trill rumbling from her throat, tossing her head from side to side.

She landed off to the side, wings bending so that her clawed fingers could meet the deck, creeping forwards to look at the spiky creature. Behind her, Tiamat’s paddle-like tail was raised, tempted to flick from side to side as she studied the other dragon. It took a lot of focusing to see properly, even if she flicked down her third eyelid, Tiamat was still rather visually impaired on land.

A short sound began in her throat, her head dipped low just as a rattling of metal made her spin around to face another dragon that had landed behind her. In a panic, she flared her fins forwards and staggered backwards on unsteady hindlegs. Had they planned to ambush her? Tiamat’s lips curled, black gums displayed with the rows of teeth, bristling towards the newcomer. She didn’t recognise this one, this one was new. It had a human.

Taking a few slow steps backwards, Tiamat kept her wings firmly on the ground now, tail lashing behind her as a low growl sounded.

Flux de Angelis | Cook / Inventor | Mentions: Yutaka (dir.) Cassiopeia/Ava, Vasilios (indir.)

As the other man spoke, Flux was nodding along making small humming sounds as he tried to visualise what Yutaka was telling him. Tilting his head to the side with his eyebrows furrowed deeply, creasing the skin in between. Flux didn’t even seem to see the oil being traced over his work, too focused on understanding what he could change about the plans.

It was supposed to fit in with Vasilios’s pre-existing hardware, however, Flux had no idea how to install the stupid thing. So he needed to practice on dummy arms, ones he found at the trading hall before he even attempted to offer it to Vas. The last thing he wanted to do was mess it up.

He had been attempting to integrate it into various arms for a while, he wasn’t keeping track, a month, maybe more. Each time, something was slightly wrong and it was infuriating.

“I don’t know how any of Vas’s arms work, it’s so strange compared to everything else on the market.” He commented, half mumbling as he plucked the paper back to look over it with a more analytical eye. The polar system…maybe. His head was cocked all the way to the side, slowly he spoke again.

“If you could pick up anything that might be useful, that would be great, Yu-” At the sudden sound, Flux’s head snapped up to the ceiling. His muscles were tightening and his arms flinched, dropping the paper to the floor as he stared upwards. Reaching for a weapon that wasn’t at his hip, grasping at thin air instead. After realising he had nothing, Flux’s arms retracted and he turned around to look down the hall and then back at Yutaka. Whatever that was couldn’t have been good, unless the captain had ordered some sort of giant delivery, which was highly unlikely. Or it could be another group here for some sort of trade or meeting.

“You don’t know if there are people due to see Captain, do you?” Flux questioned, taking a step back, turning his torso as he looked down the hallway he had just come from. Quill hadn’t said anything about it to him.

“I’m not sure I want to go and see what that was.” Flux threw Yutaka a sheepish grin, he wasn’t equipped anymore. Physically and mentally to start battling crusaders, it was exhausting work and his body felt twenty years older than it actually was.

Meliora - Mention(s): Cassiopeia, Tiamat (ind: Ava)

~

Flap. Flap. Flap. Meliora was once again off doing god knows what underneath the ship, just... being herself. Headstrong, with too much free time, and messing with some stuff that looked important underneath the ship.

Unlike Yutaka, Melie had no idea what she was doing. But it was something for her to do, and Yutaka would fix it, like he always did.

Bonk. Melie nudged her nose on some sort of square box that she knew wasn't that important - Yutaka had rambled on about how these were for so long she knew what she should and shouldn't touch by now. Like, that pole over there was a strict no-touchy, but this? This was... fine.

Melie sometimes wondered if Yutaka fixed some pointless things down here specifically just so she could break them. It was honestly not that far off, considering what she sometimes did.

Boop. It was almost off, and Melie could tell it was one nose boop away, and that it was most definitely a pointless little piece of whatnot that Yutaka had probably fixed there just so she could play around with it. But did she care? Not really.

Crash. That was not her, and the crash rattled the little empty metal box that Melie was playing with. After a second of being startled - things usually didn't go crash on ships, because crash meant something had gone wrong - she flapped up from below the ship, curious to what was going on.

Well, something was going on. Tiamat seemed to be extremely wary of - a new dragon. One that she hadn't recognized, and Melie studied her with a curious (and critical) eye. She was proud to be one of the few dragons out there, and this... was another new one that she didn't recognize.

Staying far back, behind Tiamat, she hovered midair as she watched curiously what was going on from a bit of a distance.

Now, this was more fun than nose-booping a metal box.

Dallas | M: Vasilios, Quill, Mylo (indir: Ava, Cassiopeia)
~
He made quick work of wrapping the bandage around his head over the gauze. The action was efficient, but the wrap itself looked entirely stupid. Dallas, though, hoped it was enough to satisfy Vas with his health for now. And not get him yelled at by Quill for what he was about to do, because he really had shit to do.
-
Dallas slid toward the door, his eyes flicking to Quillus's legs, then to Mylo's face, and Vasilios's, before he sidled a bit closer, and then used his arms to simultaneously push himself between Quill's legs and out the doorway, and also into a standing position, where he whipped around and broke into a run. He didn't look back to check whether or not someone was chasing him (and didn't really care if someone was), didn't stop until he hit his quarters, slammed onto his stomach, and snatched up his bucket of tools under the desk.
-
He was gonna fix that damn wall, and then he was gonna patrol and find other shit to fix until he keeled over.
-
That's when the crash came, and he slammed his head into the bottom of the desk with a yelp.
-
"The fuck was that?!"

Javalasii | M: (indir) Dallas, Flux, Ava, Cassiopeia
~
Dallas annoyed her. He annoyed her horribly. Especially when he fed her wrong, and held onto her horns without permission, and called names, and had crushes and spent time with cool white-haired boys instead of spendinf time with her.
-
Java was grateful to finally reach an area that she fit in, stretching out her wings in the open air and admiring the sky. Sure, she felt a little bad for throwing him into that wall. But she's given him much worse in their play wrestling, and she knew he could handle it. She needed to make him stronger. If he crawled into her rafters one more time and clung to her, sobbing into her wings, she absolutely would spike him. It was quite annoying, and, frankly, whatever happened, Dally needed to get over it, because it was starting to become a problem for everyone around him.
-
She shook her neck, letting the fur ripple and break, and then immediately be ruined again by the presence of her sharp spikes rising at the sound of a loud crash. Java turned her head toward the noise, narrowing ice blue eyes at what looked like the form of a dragon. What idiot was arriving now?

Shai- Mentions directly Cassiopeia; indirectly Vas, Mylo, & Quill
-
The sound of something heaving hitting the ground caused Shai to jump up from his spot on the floor and immediately pull out a knife from his sleeve.
-
What was that noise? Did someone get hurt? Are we under attack?
-
Thoughts raced through Shai's mind as he began to run towards the general area the sound came from. He made it outside in five minutes, only to come to a sudden halt at the sight of an unfamiliar dragon carrying someone who seemed to be unconscious.
-
To get into a potential fight or not? Help the scary dragon? Yes, yes help the scary dragon.
-
Shai felt Ambrose suddenly appear behind him, and with that in mind wandered over to the strange dragon in order to find out what's wrong, and hopefully get the unconscious person some help.
-
"If someone could grab Vas, Mylo, or Quill that would be great!" Shai yelled up towards the dragons.
He began to move slowly towards the new dragon, arms out infront of him as to seem defenseless. "Is it okay if I see your human?" Shai inquired. "I just want to visually assess the damage before the medic gets here"

Cassiopeia, Ava - mentions Tiamat, Meliora, Javalasii, Shai
~
Cassiopeia looked at the dragons that were beeing wary of her presence and her sudden landing, but she had no time to question their intentions - she was too desperate to get help for Ava. She gently placed her on the floor and nudged her a bit so they might notice her, and why she had landed without warning. She was frantic and for all she knew there might not be much time left for Ava.
~
Ava twitched a bit, her stomach in so much pain from eating the berries - god knows what were they. She was stupid enough not to have checked whether or not they were poisonus before stuffing her mouth with them and now she was paying the price.
Ava groans out in pain not even fully grasping where she was at the moment while clutching her stomach.
~
Cassiopeia noticed a human aproaching and didn't sense any ill intentions coming from them so she backed away a little to give room while still staying close enough to intervene is anything goes wrong.
