Raven & Shadow Raven tilted his head at the girl before blinking once. Extending his wings, he flapped once, hopping into the air. The shadows parted and shimmered before his brother appeared, clothed in his usual black clothes and his sapphire eyes staring unblinking at the girl. You could smile you know, Raven thought to himself as his brother frowned at the girl. Raven dipped down before landing on his brother's shoulders. He wasn't too sure whether to shift back or not, but for now, he would let Shadow lead. Shadow tilted his head before saying stiffly to the girl, "Your a long ways from town girl, what are you doing out here?" Raven stifled the urge to roll his eyes at his brother's rude tone. |

(can we just pretend that Amity was there with Faye and whoever else?) Amity sat close to the group, although separated. She wasn't sure why, but she figured that the fact that she had just shown up almost out of nowhere was why she didn't feel like a part of the group. She sighed, stirring at the ground as her bored finger traced words and shapes in the dirt floor. |

Shadow Shadow continued to stare at the girl, not answering the question that she directed back at him. The less these people knew about them, the better. He knew his brother didn't feel the same way but that was what had kept them safe for a long time. |

She stood there not moving and stared right back at him annoyed. She slowly made vines tie around their feet so he couldn't move. When it was done she let a small smile onto her face. |

Raven & Shadow Raven saw the small smile before the vines around Shadow's feet. He let out a screeching laugh before flapping to a branch. Shadow frowned annoyed before shadows lunged forward, covering the girl in total darkness. Raven shook his head, "Would you stop doing that? It's rude." He said, shifting into a human beside him. Well, where Shadow had been standing. Both were now covered in shadows so Raven couldn't see a thing. Shadow blinked at the girl once before a wolf appeared beside him, the shadows inching forward. They wanted the girl, just as they wanted him but he held them back. "The forest is your gifts home. And yet you still move away. Why?" Shadow asked, his head tilted slightly. |

Long story." she replied while ignoring the shadows. She got rid of the vines and turned them back to dirt. The rest of the group was up a head and didn't notice anything. |

Raven & Shadow Shadow simply kept his frown before letting the shadows go. Turning, he started back towards the cabin. Raven looked between them before rolling his eyes. "You'll have to ignore my brother. He can be hard to get used to." Raven said to the girl. "I'm Raven, I've never met someone that has gifts like me and my brother. What is your name? |
