Hurry, I'm glad you asked about the asymmetry because I was curious about it too, so I looked it up in my book ("Holistic Goat Care"), and I found that they have their uterus on the right side, and all their stomachs are on the left side. Therefore, the side that appears slightly more pointed is the side with the babies. ^^ The right side is also nice and soft to the touch, very squishy, but the left side is hard in comparison. Edit: Okay, looking back, Destiny is the opposite of the other two, with her stomachs side being a little pointier for some reason. |

That's not what I was expecting to hear :0 I though it was cause of uneven number of kids X3 And I have another question ^^ when kid is exiting mothers womb is it doing it like horse-legs first or human-head first or something else if it matters for goats? Cause I think that wrong positioning of young can cause complications during birth. |

Hurry, That's actually exactly what I was thinking before I found out it was due to the uterus being on one side. ^^ Goats come horse-legs first, so it looks like they're diving out of the womb. Yeah, wrong positioning can cause some pretty major problems, and, with many kids being the usual, it's easier for the babies to get tangled up. Recently, a friend of a friend who owns goats was assisting a mom who was having difficulties in labor. Her baby was coming with one leg in front, but the others was tucked back. The person helping was trying to pull it as it was, but, since the opening isn't large enough for a kid in that position, the uterus got a major tear, and the mom died. I believe they pulled a live kid, though. |

Thank you for the wishes :) If any complications arise, I've done a whole ton of research, plus Amanda (their previous owner/ my brother's fiance) will be there, too. If anything comes up that we can't handle, there's a good vet we know, and a vet would usually prioritize a stalled labor. Although, 99% of goat births go off without a hitch and people don't even need to step in aside from standard procedures. ^^ |

Can't wait to see the cuties! My poor little sister hasn't been able to be around goats for almost two years and our friends aren't breeding theirs/haven't bred theirs so no cute babies for her to see coming from them. She's excited to see your's ^^ She bugs me nearly every day asking for any updates you've given |

Aw, it's sad that she can't see them in person. However, I'm so happy to hear that she appreciates this forum so much! :D As of now, they haven't been showing isgns of impending labor, but Destiny's udder is getting huge. :') I would expect some by Monday due to the signs, but maybe Sunday. I would probably expect early next week at the latest. |
