While you don't have much luck at first, when you look straight ahead once again a curious head stares at you from behind a pole. They look to be a guardian type of dog, but the exact breed is hard to tell. They spot that you're looking back at them and duck behind the pole A. Try and approach the dog B. Whistle, maybe they'll approach C. Ignore them and continue your search, they clearly are shy D. See if you can tantalize them with a treat

Furry's Pack You sit down and rifle through the tote bag before finally finding the milk biscuits you bought and taking one from the package. The head pokes out once more with a curious head tilt and sniffs the air before seeming to zero in on the biscuit you have. Slowly, they make their way over to you and nom the biscuit from your hand, eating it right in front of you rather than running away. They seem to be a Bouvier des Flandres! They sit at your heels and tilt their head curiously, keeping a respectful but close distance to you A. Pet the doggo B. Bid them farewell C. Check for injuries D. Offer a hand sniff E. Maybe they're still hungry? F. Pour them some water G. Maybe they'd like to play?

The Nova Pack You decide to ask a local for any stray dog sightings in the area. A woman walking her Norwegian Buhund seems friendly enough, and you stop her for a quick question. She looks contemplative as her canine comes to hesitantly sniff your shepherd, who lets them, before the two dogs sit next to each other as observers in the conversation. "Hmmmm, animal control combed through here not long ago but I do remember seeing a pretty large dog by the parks outskirts. Didn't get a good look at them though, ducked back into the shade before I could identify what they were. I heard a lot of strays also appear by the marketplace these days due to an increase in butchers trying to sell their meat. Lot of them are willing to give a stray canine a bite or two I've heard. Hope this helps." She waves goodbye to you before continuing on her walk. A. Check the park outskirts for the large dog B. Try your luck at the marketplace [WARNING - You will enter the central sector] C. Walk along the trails and see what you can find D. Head to the center area of the park E. Head out of the park and walk around Edited at October 11, 2023 01:36 PM by Fellow in the Woods

Dawnforest You head towards the further area of the park, walking near the fences and bushes. Only the sound of bird songs accompany you for a while, as people don't usually hang around here. After a bit, you suddenly see a dog emerge from the bushes a couple feet ahead of you with what looks like a sausage in its mouth. It makes eye contact, then proceeds to book it down the path. You make a move to follow, but pause when you can hear some weak whining coming from the bushes a few inches in front of you A. Follow the dog that ran B. Check out the whining C. Keep walking down the path, looking for something else
