Yuke - Ahahh thank you, I'll need it XD I have done a few small animations before but they've been done in Procreate which is a bit difficult to work with and not a lot of functions,, but I kinda know the gist of it Yessssss the pookies will be back soon >:D . Rep - ;) You know it I always do a winter themed artwork over the holidays cause I'm in the mood, so watch out as soon as I figure out what i want to do hehehehhe |

It's International Jaguar Day today as well as Itztli's birthday!
. The third largest cat in the world, jaguars are most famous for their gorgeous pelt patterns and muscled bodies. They can be found in parts of Central America as well as South America. The jaguar's bite is incredibly powerful and can even pierce through turtle shells and crocodile hides!
However, the jaguar population is near threatened and has decreased with 20% only the last 14 years. It has even gone extinct in El Salvador and Uruguay. Their biggest threat is decreasing habitats, as logging and agriculture fragment their territory and makes it difficult for hunting and mating. Another threat to their population is the illegal pelt hunting which, while it has decreased over time, still remains and is threatening the populations. Efforts are being made to reserve these magnificent felines and it's good to spread awareness, hence one of the reasons why I make this post :D .
All this being said, I love jaguars shjsiahwnhsja they're fantastic (and I love Itztli too :p) |
