Hey, y'all! Welcome to the Base Masterlist, brought to you by Synco and the rest of the lovely mod team! Lineart plays an important role in our art community and users love to see the beautiful designs and creations that others can come up with. However, problems can occur when lineart is posted here, even if it's uploaded to a proper image hosting site. These problems are seen among the mod team on a regular basis and doing any of the following can get you into trouble accompanied by a consequence, based on the severity:
- Leaving off the proper credits to the artist (signatures are not sufficient enough credits)
- Not crediting the artist properly
- Posting a base that is not allowed on the site
- Not following the artist's TOS
- Claiming the lineart as your own (which is considered theft)
The purpose of this thread is to compile a list of all the F2U (free to use) bases that are allowed on Wolf Play within the artist's TOS (terms of service). Whether you find the base on DA (DeviantArt) or you created a base of your own, sharing them in here can potentially reduce the amount of rulebreaking as well as providing some awesome bases to color in. Sounds like a win-win deal in my opinion!
Feel free to post any and all questions regarding lineart here as well! It's better to check ahead of time if you are unsure of what the artist's TOS means or have any other questions.
