Personality Overview :)
Basilius is rather serious, cold, reserved, though can be protective. He's generally violent when it comes to most things. He's observant and calculating, sometimes manipulating others without even noticing it. He also has a lot of built-up anger, so best you steer clear of saying something that might even upset him the tiniest bit.

When it comes to the others, Basilius normally gives what he receives. There are a few exceptions to this, like if someone has done him wrong, someone he's super close with doesn't like someone else, etc. But if you're nice to him, he's generally nice back. Rude? He'll be even ruder. You get the gist.

He is not the easiest shell to crack. It takes a lot of patience for him to warm up to you if you ever want to understand him more.

Keijo Alvar Elving
Honestly, Basilius looks at Keijo and sees someone useless. What could possibly be so special about him? Granted Keijo does not posess powers, but a scared teenager is not something that would help a group of people unwanted in their world. While Basilius does tolerate him, he doesn't find himself talking to him unless he absolutely has to. Their dynamic is a mix of tension and awkwardness.

Kieran Slynne
Basilius finds himself looking at Kieran in a way of fascination. Not of romantic meaning, but rather admiration. Perhaps it's the closeness in their species that make him feel more comfortable around her, or maybe it's something buried deep within her personality, but Basilius can respect the woman. The two have many similarities because of their species, and perhaps more if Basilius was willing to learn more about her. Regardless, he can appreciate the company of her even if it's just dead silence.

Personality Overview; Did someone order a cinnamon roll that got slightly burnt while in the oven? No? Well, too bad, here it is. He’s a pathetic cinnamon roll. That’s him. Yeah. He’s a bit easier to scare than most, prone to panic, but he’s also friendly and sweet, and definitely loyal and honest. He’s a good friend, but good luck with not scaring him and in getting his trust. Because he is a skeptical fellow nowadays. And a quiet one, so good luck with those conversations.

Kieran is pretty darn cool, if you ask Keijo. They both have K names, which is funny. To him. Probably not her. But whatever. Awkward cough. Anyways, she reminds him a lot of Seita, his older sister. The two would even be close in age if she were still alive. Kieran even shows affection like Seita did! Ruthless, merciless, heart wrenching teasing! Big sister vibes from her all the way. This also makes him a bit anxious in seeking her out still though, but he’s been getting better about it. If someone tried to hurt her, he’s not gonna have it. He’ll be trying to take the blow instead of her any day.

Basilius Weylin - 18%

Basilius… Kind of intimidates him, if Keijo’s being honest. The guy seems cool, sure, but his entire vibe is just cold and serious and kinda violent. It would remind him of his older step brother, Swyn, but Basilius is worse than him. And he could never remember his family being worse than they were. Better than they were, sure, but not worse. Never worse.

Anyways though, Keijo would want to get to know him, but given that Basilius also kinda terrifies him- Keijo’s sure that it isn’t a good idea. When they do have to interact, Keijo usually finds himself apologizing more than usual. Which is honestly a feat, given how much he apologizes anyways. Even still, if someone was out to get Basilius, Keijo would do whatever he could to help the scary man.

Mircea Rosenberg - 83%

Mircea is a good friend of his, though the two certainly bicker. Well, kind of. Really, it’s more of Keijo apologizing and Mircea pouting over how he wants to be mad at him but can’t when he just keeps apologizing with what is basically the look of a puppy who’d just been kicked. The two had actually met each other before, when the wizard had stopped by at his mother’s bakery while he was running it for her. Mircea had ordered sweets, tried to tip, and Keijo wasn’t going to have it because the bakery wasn’t supposed to take tips. The wizard ended up portaling out of there, at which point Keijo had thrown more sweets after him to make up for the tip.

Other than that somewhat awkward meeting though, Keijo and Mircea talk about basically everything that doesn’t cross the line of privacy that Mircea built. Keijo watches him do magic, Mircea watches him carve, and they bake together sometimes. Mircea hates his fashion, which is odd to Keijo and thus always apologizes when the wizard doesn’t look very pleased with it. Keijo has given Mircea a small statue carving of his Barn Owl familiar, dyed to match the colors correctly even. Somebody tries to hurt Mircea then you should probably expect Keijo to at least try and intercept it and take the blow instead.

It’s still a bit awkward on his side, a bit anxiety-inducing to talk to Mircea, because the wizard met him before what happened to his large family. So he sometimes, when his thoughts take darker paths, wonder when the wizard is going to realize that he’s just as much as a murderer as the people from his town and leave him.

0%; “Uh, um…”

Yeah, he either despises you or he’s absolutely terrified of you. Don’t come near him, you’ll probably end up giving him a panic attack just by your mere presence. He still treats you with respect like he does everyone else, but that might be out of fear.

10%; “Please, go away..?”

You either scare Keijo or he hates you. He doesn’t hate many people though, so it’s probably the former.

20%; “Do you need something.?”

He’s pretty sure you’re only near him because you need or want something from him. He’s not really going to deny you whatever it is you’re needing/wanting either, since you probably intimidate him. Either that, or he’s just asking so that you leave sooner because he doesn’t really like you.

30%; “What is it?”

He isn’t scared of you, per se, but you definitely put him on edge with your mere presence. So he tries to get you going sooner rather than later. Or he just doesn’t like being near you too much.

40%; “Okay…?”

Please state your name and intentions, he doesn’t really trust you. He can tolerate you, he would just prefer not to. He doesn’t really understand what your whole deal is yet.

50%; “Cool, cool..”

You’re… Alright. Not the best by any means, but your presence is tolerable and he doesn’t hate you. He’s okay with being stuck in your presence in silence. At least for a few minutes at a time.

60%; “Hello..?”

He probably has a friend crush on you. You seem cool to him, like someone who he would totally be friends with or would like to be friends with. But he has absolutely no clue how to approach or talk to you. So he ends up not doing either.

70%; “It’s good to see you.”

Good job, you’re officially considered a friend. He’s still a bit wary here and there, and certainly still awkward, but he’s willing to give you discounts on anything he whittles or carves. Or make you little things for free. Or sacrifice a meal so you get one if it comes down to it. He still isn’t willing to seek you out on his own though, too awkward for that.

Wow, he’s starting to warm up enough to actively search for your company when alone, albeit still a bit awkwardly. He would very easily give his life for you if it comes down to such a thing. He doesn’t let you pay for anything he whittles or carves, unless it’s huge and you basically force the money into his hands. He’s totally given you gifts too by now.

90%; “How’re you doing?”

Yeah, he’s comfortable around you. He can seek you out now without feeling dread and anxiety. If anyone ever tries hurting you, he’s gonna be trying to take the punishment in your place. He really doesn’t want to see you hurt, in any kind of way. Physical, emotional, or mental. He’s here to comfort you, give you gifts, bake you bread, and whatever else you need until you’re better.

100%; “You aren’t going anywhere. I promise.”

Let’s be real- He either loves you or you’re his best friend. There’s no other option. He would jump off a cliff you told him to. He trusts you with his life, he trusts you to know when it isn’t as important as the things at hand. And honestly, no way is he going to let you die anytime soon. Or get hurt. He’d rather die himself than see you hurt.

Personality Overview: While she is an aloof and somewhat intimidating individual, also not the most loving at first, her loyalty is unwavering once you've earned it. She won't be blindly loyal, you can lose it, but for the most part she'll be the most loyal & affectionate person. She just isn't the type to jump into a close relationship most the time. She'll return energy for sure, though she won't get caught up in drama. Additionally, she finds herself quite interested in individuals with a quiet soul.

{Lorenzo Alvarez - Kieran has a lot of respect for this knight as an individual. She recognizes that he is invaluable However, he's still younger than she is never going to let him forget that. Ask her, she is "100% better than the kid" at fighting. Bringing up that she's only 5 years older will earn you a glare. She's gonna have her fun taunting him. She has a bit of an inner conflict when it comes to offering him advice. She doesn't want him improving, 'cause she wants continue to make fun of his weaknesses, but she realizes it's for the good of the group and all that crap to offer a helping hand when wanted.}

{Basilius Weylin - Kia quite admires this man. She almost looks up to him, one could say. There are many aspects of his character that lead to her being intrigued by him, his quiet demeanor, his intelligence, his species, and his interesting, even beautiful, appearance. Additionally, to be fair, she is rather attracted to cold and distant individuals, enjoying a challenge of trying to figure them out. She doesn't want to be romantically interested, as his age does make her tentative to consider it, but he is definitely the type in which she'd take an interest and she might have taken one.}

{Mircea Rosenberg - An interesting individual. Kia has always been interested in magic, and Mircea's quiet disposition makes for a mysterious air. Yet, she doesn't feel like she knows him. They may spend time together, but they don't talk as much. She enjoys his company very much, though, even the times they just sit in silence. Additionally, she feels a connection in the sense that both are unaccepted due to species, and have had similar experiences due to this. They do spar, it's not often she meets a good partner, and she's delighted at his skill. She likes him alright and respects him mostly, but don't expect her to refrain from giving him the side eye if he starts anything with Keijo.}

{Keijo Alvar Elving - Anybody intelligent is on Kia's liked list for the most part, or at least interested. While he's not the type of intelligence Kia generally takes an interest in, Keijo is somebodoy she is deeply devoted to. She's grown to care deeply for him, but as you would expect a sister would. This means you won't see her acting like she likes him most the time, and she even enjoys taunting him. However, she would go to the ends of the earth if it meant keeping him safe. Touch a hair on his head, and she'll change her rule about not starting drama real quick. Also, she's not gonna like him and Mircea much >.>}

{Celyn Ithas Aldritch - The one and only, crown prince. This title alone used to make Kieran somewhat tentative when dealing with him, as she knows her tongue can have a mind of its own. However, she has a very protective and motherly feeling towards him. Maybe due to his age, his position, his health, she doesn't quite know for sure, but she's quite defensive of him the way you would expect a mother would be. This won't stop her from making fun of him lightheartedly whenever the opportunity presents itself, however. She's going to have as much fun as she wants making fun of him, but she'll do it in the gentler way one would expect from a motherly figure compared to how she treats the others.}
