Exactly! Each of the "missing" people actually have some sort of ability that removes them from being "in the world". Ooooh like a choice they get to make. Do they stay and continue as they are? Or do they go for something more? |

Yes! Though instead of a 'choice' it's kind of like they're forced into it. Like they really don't know what they're doing. Kind of like Clearwater is giving certain people powers, but some people misuse it and 'get lost' (Sorta their soul becomes lost and with it their ambition/ everything that makes them 'them' gone') And maybe there's a way to bring them back and that's what our characters sorta do :3

People with powers misuse them, therefor get 'lost'. Our characters are going to try to bring the back with out getting lost themselves.

Sorry, I yap too much sometimes lol - But essentially what Bobcat said! Being around Clearwater does give people powers. But, maybe to have these powers, you have to go through a 'test'. Those who are strong minded can control their powers, and therefore, stay in control of themselves. But for those who don't, they lose control of their powers, and 'disappear'. (Ex. Talon's recent post has him blanking out a lot. He's a senior, and basically lives in Clearwater even out of the school year. Talon is weak and pretty vulnerable so maybe he succumbs to his power instead of being able to use it, haven't decided yet lol) - As for HOW they get it, I was thinking something about the lake. Maybe there's a part of the lake, like a super secret cave that had magical water or something? The group of kids maybe go to a party one night there and they all get close to the water and start developing powers?
