I had it on her form in since the beginning, and it was mainly just for my character. I wasn't trying to reference it for anything else. Just my character, and besides she has no knowledge of this. As you stated, old knowledge was lost. But ok, I'll just change it, no big deal |

Yes please. I based this RP on the way they do the fae in A Court Of Roses and Thorns, so I have no idea who those are. I want this world to be different from them too so we have the lore of everything before the RP to be basically nothing. I want the world to be created by the characters in the RP and not anything that could've come before them. |

yea, i get it no worries it was purely referenced for my character's growth through the rp, it was supposed to be lost knowledge and simply something that would impact her exclusivlely. . I'm working on removing it know, but I have one last comment then I'll drop this. As much as I understand you want to stay close to the original book's lore, having an outside reference on one character isn't going to break things. |

Her relations/affiliations are open if you want to plot something. Perhaps Matt's family hired an additional hunter (Val) to do some sort of joint hunt to kill like extra prey or something for the family and that's how they land in day Court. I gathered some of that background from previous discussions in the thread. Perhaps Val hunted for Caite's family and she seems familiar when they all end up in the Day Court. (Thoughts?)

We aren't going by book lore, that would make it too close to the books and it would become a fandom RP or close to one. The lore I want for this RP should be created collectively by everyone so it becomes a world built by everyone and not just myself. We aren't using high fae from any other books, we aren't using the gods from any other books and we aren't even using the same type of territory the courts would be built on. Having an outside refrence wouldn't break it but it also isn't accepted because it has nothing to do with the way we are doing the RP so it can't stay |

What if Matt and Val have worked on hunts together and since Caite is Matt's cousin, Caite may have heard about Val but Matt is the one that recognizes Val?

Illyrians aren't a type of high fae (never have been, Aziel is a special case, and he doesn't have offspring) so the last bit wouldn't work out, but having Maeve be Illyrian is fine by me |
