Neziton and Aonich would be best friends for life, their role is to give each other something to fight for and something to motive them. Now Neziton is open for interaction and if someone wants to have any relations to Aonich as a way to get closer to Neziton that's fine with me, Aonich is someone who speaks his mind but not as much as Neziton; he doesn't always listen to Neziton( They have this sorta toxic friendship, which is why they either get killed in their stories) which gets him killed. Neziton found Aonich to be slightly annoying and a bit of a show-off narcissist like himself just worst. I read a few pages in the discussion to find out the plot and where to begin, so I'll start in a weird way, Neziton first paragraph will be him finding out the sickness/plague and the second will be a past flashback from where Aonich would be sick, and the rest is just Neziton normal break down and whatever.
