I have a literal 127 NPCs right now. They're listed in a doc; there's bound to be one who's suitable for literally any situation. Granted, 99% of them aren't going to come into being, but my point still stands--

Yep! I mass-produce characters by assigning random things to them, be it traits related to appearance or personality. Christopher Wong, for one, was invented when I randomly decided that he'd have an AK-47. Now, he actually has a personality, a tragic backstory, and a means of death. |

When I want to mass-produce characters, I just write down a list of traits and yoink whatever I like. I ended up writing about 230 words of traits the other day, and I took around 200 to make whoever the hell I could think of on the dot. |

You thought of 127 characters each based off of random traits, have at least 7 awesome roleplay ideas and a shit ton of highly developed, really fun main characters, too. I'd say that's pretty damn creative. Even if you think you cheated your brain or whatever, that's still purely your own ability.
