So I was going to write Phoenix in a certain way, serious and calculating, always planning way far ahead for the future, he always says what he means and is very eloquent and precise with his words. He takes every failure on the chin and immeditaly starts planning ways to get around challenges, he is incredibly ambitious and never gives up even if things look bad. Hes pretty stotic and keeps his emotions to himself, unless he can use that emtion to get an advantage. He trusts his teammates to listen to himself/the other lead dog/the musher, to win. He can be incredibly selffish compared to the other teams, he wants to win, and prove he isn't some unplanned mutt. He plays dirty.

Sounds like a perfect lead dog for the Darkshade team! Any ideas on rivals in the team for him? I know Ash is the exact opposite as Phoenix. He can be serious to the extent of strategizing but that's usually where it ends. He doesn't give up on a challenge and too stubborn to back down from one but usually gives in to authority. Sometimes. Consider him a playful pup in an adult dog xD

I've thought about a few different possible rivals but I think I'll wait to see how some relationships build over time ^^ They actually sound pretty similar to me :O Like Phoenix is the older version of Ash, that Ash maybe is scared to become? IDK just spitting that idea out

The one thing with that, is that one of Phoenix's biggest strengths is never underestimating others, hes fully aware someone else can be rebellious and not follow rules. My guy spends almost 100% of his time in his own head observing and calculating. :')

Hmm. .I like that. If they really got to know each other, Phoenix would definitely freak Ash out. That could be one of the reasons if Ash could get a bit more experience outside of a team dog. Dove Skull said: Like, Phoenix speficially freaks him out because hes a darker reflection of himself? :O
