my best tips are finding a quiet space or making one for yourself, doing something different from what you're actively doing (like drawing something, going to make tea/coffee, etc), and listening to more slow-paced or calm music.

the one i have out right now is a cat specific one, but it's not going so well lol xD i think next time i'll do a more rough sketch of the character's pose and have it so it can be any species.

Honestly I probably wouldn't care if she weren't so essential, but if she dies unless everyone has emotional attachment to each other or they make an awesome team they'll probably slip away from each other and after the "stablility" they're gonna be wrecked
