I find it funny how Sadie just fuckin' charged at the thing he had (she's an impulsive little shit. Doesn't care about consequences) and played a one-sided tug-of-war— If that squirrel was cooked, though, she would've spat it out and skipped back to the rest of the group, and probably insulted Carswell from behind them all, ridiculing him about his taste or something lmao.

A part of me wants to think that Sadie temporarily broke off from the rest of the group because she smelled the meat, but when she saw Carswell, the reason why she charged right at him wasn't entirely for the meat but mostly because she'd thought he was Charlie. When she got close enough and saw that he clearly wasn't, she was already there, so she grabbed the meat, went chomp-chomp, and proceeded to fuck right off.

Now that we're doing short stories, though... Maybe I should write something about Sadie and that cat she ate...
