When someone is bitten by a Three, they turn in seconds, but maybe we could incorporate your idea into the story by saying that someone who doesn't move after being bitten by a Three might be able to last longer—maybe, like, a few minutes longer or something. Either way, though, they're turning. The only problem I see in this is that the parasite of Threes don't need the help of a heartbeat to get to the brain; they legit move themselves up the blood vessels. So, honestly, even if someone who's been bitten by a Three was to not move, the parasite would find its way to the brain within seconds anyway.

I was thinking that maybe this could be similar with type threes if they were to bite you since they seem to be more dangerous.. Maybe once they bit you it had some kind of deadly venom associated with it and if not with proper care and treatment. As well as not laying still the venom could spread throughout the body and ultimately kill you. Of course I see the downside if we include this in the role play. It's just an idea I thought of when thinking about the scary creatures. Lol
