Interesting, the one that's been trying to get passed in the US has dogs being euthanized. If it looks like a bully, it's dying

they arn't slaughtered. It breeding, selling, buying, trading ETC witch is banned. the current bullies may live out their lives. Though, a lot of especially brits euthanised theirs (out from their own choice)

but this is also stated on the UKC webpage "Above all else, the APBT must have the functional capability to be a catch dog that can hold, wrestle (push and pull), and breathe easily while doing its job. Balance and harmony of all parts are critical components of breed type.

Yep, I wish we as a world would stop and actually inform ourselves and stop spreading misinformation. The media is always dramatizing things and blowing everything way out of proportion and now we have innocent animals being slaughtered because of it

yes i agree with you. I also think that a lot of people (in europe where these dogs are foreign) i think a lot of the people that buy them, encourage and like their history as agressive dogs

That doesn't surprise me, even rotties I've seen. Not many, but there are some. Most of the negative myths surrounding pits and such are because of the dogs that were abused, neglected, or used in dog fights. Gives the entire breed a bad rep

Almost any dog can do a job if it's trained right. Labs, goldens, german shepards, even Pitties and malinois, I've personally met a Doberman Pincher who was a cardiac alert dog. Many breeds have been trained for those jobs but some of them just arent in the media

pitties where never used as nanny dogs, thats a common myth lol

It really is sad. I work in a vet hospital and I've had more huskies, Dalmatians, and chihuahuas try and take my face off than anything else, but I've never seen any legislation about them.

Such sweet dogs, all they want is love, snuggles, and sometimes a sweater

banning dogs is the dumbest thing

Hey. I've been recently contemplating on getting an Ipad for a graphics tablet, as my laptop's colors aren't true to color and my art always looks super wonky on any other device that isn't my laptop. I know a bunch of people use Ipads, but I definitely cannot afford a new one. I'm debating on getting a G1-G4, preowned, as those seem to be in my budget, but I'm wondering if anyone has had experience with these and if it's even worth it? I'm worried about the lag and color accuracy mostly.

I've never used an Ipad like at all, but if you need a budget friendly graphics tablet, I use a Huion tablet. It's lasted me three years and cost about 130 CAD.

I sort of use an ipad. Though I use my finger for most of my art, it does sort of give more accuracy, because I can sit very close to the screen n stuff (which probably kills my eyes tbh, sobb)
As for colours, you definitely need to keep the brightness up, and try your best to colourpick when doing specific characters/colours. :)

Same, but once you get using a pen down for certain details it can be useful

All I've used for 90% of my art is an IPad. I used to use an older iPad which my sister still has and the Apple Pencil. Both were refurbished and they lasted for, shoot, a good three years. I recently upgraded to the 12.9 inch iPad Air pro and honestly, 0 regrets.
It's smooth, definitely recommend procreate for it.

Thank you guys, I ended up buying a preowned and a preowned pencil, and the pencil stopped working 5 days after I had it - 2 days after the return time was over. :'''') Saving for a new pencil.
