Or maybe a whole new option should be added specifically for pelts with both grayscale and brownscale

I personally almost think that pelts with both grayscale colors and brownscale colors should only appear under random. But that could just be me. I am also perfectly fine with how it works currently though too

I just noticed the Wraith pup as well! I think he is good at throwing beauties. My fingers are crossed for you, I feel like I consistently stalk their litters XD

@Basil
The game considers iron grayscale because it's mostly black I think. I am almost positive dalmation 2 is the same because it's mostly white

@Childrens
Blue is considered grayscale and for dogs that are truly blue, it's considered a gray looking color.

Bear, my service dog is a blue goldendoodle but almost everyone mistakes it for black, gray and silver

hallow, very understandable lmao, but he is a pretty boy, was bred to a pretty girl, so pretty pup was hardly a surprise XD

Though to me personally schist is either neither grayscale or brownscale or it'd be both. Because it has white brown-gray and small amounts of pure gray

Hi
I am not sure how many artists are out there on wolf play
but I needed help on coloring

I am good at sketching/drawing characters
but my coloring normally makes it lose quality, making it really unappealing

In other words, my coloring is really bad/ it ruins the outcome of my work

I need suggestions/tips on coloring

please provide examples to support your suggestion

thanks for reading

It depends, do you use a art program with layers?

Here's a few examples of my coloring

Credits for the lineart go to the following people

The first and second one go to Fluffline on DA

The third one goes to WhiteAdoptables500 on DA

The fourth one goes to me for both making the lines and coloring
As for coloring credits they all go to me

A big tip, make sure the markings fit the form. This happens to a lot of beginning artists/people just starting to color there work. Almost think if you wolfs body had a grid over it, how would it go?
I'll add some pictures later today when I'm on my laptop. ^^
Another thing, study a bit of color theory. It's a wide spectrum so maybe narrow it down to analogies, complementary colors, etc. This will help your designs and coloring look like it goes together and blends nicely.
Last, don't use super saturated colors. I was notorious for this. Unless it's a neon accent, beware the bright colors. :')
(Note, they can be used properly, but since you want tips and are working on your coloring its best not to use them)
